This was more of a stand alone episode that focused a lot on Katara, and the notion of whether or not you should try and help wherever you can, whenever you can.
Good stuff! And very emotional.

Yet again I wasn't able to find subtitles that would sync up to the episode, sorry about that guys. We hope you can enjoy the video nonetheless 💜

Idk if I missed it but I was wondering why don't you use Netflix to watch avatar so you can use thier subtitles?

Thank you very much for the double Avatar drop, I'm looking forward to watching these tonight 😁. I know the editing of all of these vids is a lot Sonny, so thank you for all the time you invest in providing the content 💜

Our Netflix unfortunately doesn't have Avatar. It also works differently when I am editing, because I actively have to add the subtitles, and sometimes I just can't find any that fit with the copy of the episode I am using. I am looking into other options, though 🙂

"Saruman believes it is only great power that can hold evil in check, but that is not what I have found. I found it is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay. Small acts of kindness and love." -Gandalf

Managing fine without the subtitles, no biggie. :-) FYI, if you react to The Legend of Korra after this, it's worth knowing Nickelodeon kept the creators guessing as to whether or not the series would be renewed, so they felt every season might be the last. Thus, the story is structured differently as it was difficult for them to plan a full story arc like they were able to with ATLA. Just wanted to share so you will have that context if you choose to watch it.

Kat is going to be a mess during the entire final episode lol. I can't wait :)

Hei Bai went on a rampage because the forest was destroyed. they established very early that what we do effects the spirit. so YES the river SOOOO polluted she couldnt come to 'our world'. she was blocked away. its so crazy to think about. the painted lady was blocked from 'our world' but the town was missing out on her blessings because she wasnt there. its a circle that effects everyone. beautiful message, as always

Aww, you guys are so cute. Thanks for the uploads I am excited for this whole season and getting to rewatch with you whenever I want.

I like the love and support Sokka has for Katara even when he doesn't agree with her choices. He always have her back. Someone pointed out to me a while ago that this bond is something Zuko never has or experienced.

Aw, you guys are so clever. I so appreciate your insights. That is what is great about this episode, Katara development but mostly it's that Aang is the worlds Avatar. He is there to help all of them, and his Gaang is up for it with him, even the fire nation. And they show that even in the fire nation this empiricist attitude is bad for the fire nation people as well.

Libby DVR

I've heard some people say that about Yue like Aang was slighting her but I wonder if he just doesn't think of Yue as a spirit like the rest because he knew her as a person. SO when he saw her he wasn't thinking, "spirit!" he was thinking "Yue!".

>Says English is only a second language >Has better English vocabulary than a large chunk of people who speak English as their first language You're far too modest Sonny, you are both exceptionally knowledgeable

Some people refer to this as a filler episode, but I disagree. I think it's showing how not everything in the Fire Nation is great, despite the propaganda. They treat their own people like crap too.

Sonny Mike Olsen

Technically, it is a filler, since it's not advancing the plot at all. However, I've never understood the hate for fillers, as I come to enjoy the extended world building and the development of/delving into the characters' personality that is shown in fillers. Kat

Yes last episode Aang did teach those kids how to dance, didn't he? Hmmm.. As for this episode, it reminds me of Iroh's lesson to Zuko describing the four nations: "The people of the Water Tribe are capable of adapting to many things. They have a deep sense of community ..." Katara's sense of community would not allow her to just walk away from one that she saw as in need. Even if it wasn't her own. Sokka's notions about community was that they needed to band together so that the community on the river could depend on each other for survival, rather than some external force. Those two things came together to create a really beautiful episode.
