and omg yes... that deathly hallows scene did remind me of the omashu story as well. even the way they were narrated felt very similar.

I think the original earth benders are great characters! The way they introduce their mythology is so interesting and it makes sense somehow. The story of the two lovers is beautiful even if in my opinion it could be just a legend, I don't know. The scenes with Zuko and Iroh are also great even if Zuko doesn't learn his lesson and abuses the people's generosity in the end. To respond to Sonny, I don't think they didn't show the kiss because they didn't want kids to see it. After all, Suki kissed Soka in season 1 :) I think it was more artistic than anything I thought I didn't like this episode too much and I often skip it in the reactions that I watch, but re-watching it here I liked it better than I thought! Cool themes and scenes overall
