Beltalowdas! We have truly enjoyed reacting to and talking about The Expanse, so much so that we wan't to keep making content related to that universe!

There are surely plenty of things we can do, but we already have an idea for the first thing we want to do. How would guys like a video about "The Churn"?
I (Sonny) is contemplating reading it out loud, on video, reacting to what happens, and then reviewing it afterwards with Kat. It is possible with this one because it just a short novella, if we decide to read the books at some point, then it will probably "just" be reviews and comparisons to the show.

How does that sound? Please let us know if you have any other suggestions.
We can't promise that we will do them all, but it is always nice to have options!

When it comes which series is going to replace The Expanse, we have already promised to do Band of Brothers, so look out for those reactions coming very soon.
Any other show suggestions will, as always, be added to the list. Since BoB is a limited series, it's not gonna be long before we move onto a new show after that.
We will share more when we know what we're going to pick!

Much love
Kat & Sonny 💜

Ooooo yes definitely do that with the novellas, and for sure do some reviews of the books. I will gladly watch those videos

That's sounds goods to me. will you react to devs or succession.

The Churn is amazing. And it has no spoilers of future books so I would love this kind of book club! I don't know but I feel the showrunners might bring parts of the Churn to the show because Amos' backstory is so fun to read. So yes for that. Checking out/reacting the Expanse blooper reel would be cool. And if you do start reading the books, it would be cool to hear your thoughts about them!

Band of Brothers. :)

I thought that Season Five was going to somehow incorporate The Churn. It might be a big spoiler for you if you read it before that comes out. I saw an interview with the actor who plays Amos and it hinted that the season would very much be about him and his past.

Since you guys seem to be very keen on Norse Mythology, have you seen American Gods? It takes an interest twist by making gods of different pantheons clash. It currently has two seasons on STARZ.

If you want any suggestions for shows to watch next or in the future I'd like to recommend: The Leftovers & Mr. Robot. And although I'd really like to see your reaction & hear your thoughts on both shows. Though given current events you may want to wait to watch them as they can both be depressing at times.

Another series suggestion - check out "Carnival row", it's got a nice fantasy\barocco setting, and an awesome cast. I think you'll like it! It's only 8 episodes for now though, and it's not getting enough attention IMO. And I'm definetly all for more reading in any situation =)

I loved 'The Churn', but if you want short, check out James S.A. Corey's "The Drive". It's actually the inspiration for The Expanse. 'The Churn' is their inspiration for Amos. Both are great. I'd just suggest starting from the beginning.

And another short series (on Prime), "Good Omens". I think that was only 6 episodes ... and a fun watch.

Book 5, "Nemesis Games" also focuses quite a bit on Amos. And that's all I'm going to say on that topic.

The live reading idea is good, my recommendation is to do it but with the short story 'Drive' instead of The Churn, which fleshes out the story of Solomon Epstein that was seen briefly in S3

Well, I can recommend a lot of shows, but not many will get as high paises from me as "Banshee" It was on Cinemaxx some years ago, it stars " Antony Starr" (Homelander in The Boys) and "Ulrich Thomsen" (Danish actor). It is AWESOME and balls to the wall.. Action, fights, and language are all at the M-Rating... With all that being said, I really don't know if it' is a show for Kat, Since it has A LOT of brutal death scenes and nudity... Oh, and don't let the name of the show fool you, it is NOT a supernatural show, Banshee is a small town in Pennsylvania. where the show takes place.

I would be awesome if you could react to some of Zurik 23M videos. I hope you know his channel it has the most incredible FanEdits for all sorts of shows including the Expanse. They are all really really really great but if I had to choose I would say the TeamABC (it's a really funny one) and either "A New Era" or the "Drummer and Ashford" one (or both did i already say how good they were).

I'd love to see more Expanse content from you guys. I haven't read "The Churn" but have read all the main books. I'm a little nervous about you guys doing "The Churn" as it deals with Amos's background. If they show runners don't deviate too much from the books we're going to get a lot of Amos in season 5 and I'm concerned that "The Churn" could be a bit of a spoiler. Maybe someone who has read both can comment. As for new shows to try maybe "Black Sails". I know a lot people give it a bum rap but "Lost in Space" on Netflix is pretty good at least the 1st season. Maybe do some reaction videos to some movies you haven't seen yet. Probably doesn't matter too much your fans will still show up.

Yes, yes, yes...anything The Expanse would be wonderful.

BERSERKER KING REVIEW'S

😁i suggest netflix Ozark . great tv show , i loved it a lot.

Would be nice to read the churn. I don't really see it as spoiling for season 5 since you can pick up his past if you pay attention to comments and what not of Amos past. Would be nice to see your reviews of the books and comparisons also to the TV show. They are not exact 1 to 1.

Breaking Bad

Happy for you guys! I hope you'll pick up on The last kingdom someday :)

Yay! The Churn storytime and Band of Brothers. So many famous actors stared in that series when they were just starting out their careers.

Robert 'Jemimus' Kloosterhuis

Battlestar Gallactica (the newer one) is a good one. Firefly. (just one season) Space above and Beyond (just 1 season). Altered Carbon (S01/02). If you want to go a little old-school: The X-Files And if you can handle disturbing and dark material (but with fantastic cinematography); Hannibal (3 seasons)

I wonder if you'd ever consider watching Beastars. It's an anime on Netflix with currently 12 episodes, and it's been a while since I've seen an anime that good. The animation is well done, the characters are wonderful, and the plot has a good mix of funny moments and more difficult themes.

I'd like to see you both react to The Haunting of Hill House. I think reading any of the novellas has the ability to spoil upcoming seasons. It is intersting that the people that are saying it won't spoil anything in Season Five have obviously read The Churn and/or all the books but, at least to my knowledge, have no way of having watched Season Five so how do they know it won't have spoilers? Plus, from what I've heard, Amos in the books is, at least in appearance, much different looking. He is some type of giant baby-shaped man with a belly and chiseled arms and a bald head. I much prefer the very attractive Amos we get in the show...LOL.

Ragnarok on Netflix was very enjoyable -- only 6 episodes, so not too much of a commitment =D Already renewed so there will be an eventual second season ... I'll second doing BSG -- the first limited series (3 episodes) are still some of the best television I've ever seen. Not sure about doing the entire run, though, since it kind of lost its way after a season or two ... Firefly is also a good bet -- good job, Robert! -- just the one season with good quality episodes and of course the follow-up feature film.

Once upon a time?

Wondering also if Gods of Risk would be good as well? I like the idea of novella exploration. Really No One that I know of has done that. It would keep me watching for sure!!
