Jet gets more annoying every time I see this episode

Part of why i love this episode is it show a nonbender like jet actually capable of standing to a bender in a fight.

The next episode called The Great Divide is considered the “worst” of the series...so keep it in mind. But after that it’s only uphill and truly fantastic episodes there on out!!!

It isn't a bad episode, but it is a filler episode that doesn't add anything to the show, which is the main complaint I think. There are only a few episodes that I would consider filler in the series but this one was done intentionally. Nickelodeon knew that this was a highly serialized show, and they wanted to have an episode that was a little more standalone to use as a re-run that wouldn't need additional show context. Thus "The Great Divide" was created, and it is the episode that has been aired the most as a re-run. Before streaming, any casual fan had seen this episode multiple times, which didn't help with its perception.

They would be in the wrong age group to really remember that movie but people who like movies should remember it. Basco is also slated to be in the Netflix live action Avatar but no mention of what character he will play. I am hoping Firelord Ozai
