A while back when Sonny mentioned his discomfort about eye things and contact lenses I had to sit on my hands immediately 'cause I thought of this episode XD Sorry!

I don't know a ton about it so if someone wants to correct me please please let me know. I just assumed the reason Holden and Miller were sterile after Eros was because of the radiation, not the anti-cancer meds. Also agreed, if the drugs cause infertility but treat a life threatening problem, give them to me ASAP.

I love the melted moon, every time I see it the sheer energy needed to melt a fucking moon makes my brain hurt lol.

As you saw, the reason why Amos is afraid is because of what happend in that basement. I guess it was sexual abuse. Which is why the reason we saw him freak out like that for the first time. Eventually we'll see more about his back story next season.

Great reactions guys, you seemed very moved by a couple of scenes. I always go back to S1 when Chrisjen screwed over the Martain Ambassador, she'll do anything to win. I'm surprised that her husband is just figuring that out about her. (I guess he's a new guy, so he doesn't know her very well :-) j/k So sorry you were spoiled on the state of Mars, but I think that might be a bit unfair. By the second episode, we saw the state of Mars and it was commented on by Gunny and her boyfriend (Damn I don't know what his name is). It could only be due to 2 factors, the military downsizing and the opening of the rings.

I get where you're coming from but I don't think it's unfair for them to be upset about that. It's the difference of being told instead of shown. The show wouldn't linger on it if all they needed to know was in episode 2. It's hard to curb our excitement and censor our desire to delve deep into current plotlines, but we gotta. They deserve the experience that we all had when watching the show for the first time, and we've gotta respect and be thankful that they're sharing this with us.

I don't think we're being unfair. People didn't gave us any chance of figuring out what was going on on Mars on our own, and I would really have liked to get to that conclusion myself.

that’s unfortunate that you both were spoiled about the dream of mars dying! i’m really looking forward to the last two episodes and your reactions and discussions. i’d say read/listen to “the churn” after season 5.

I love the Holden and Amos relationship. One of my favorites in the show! That ending gave me goosebumps when I first saw it. It freaked me out so much lol

I've seen Sonny look away at few things but think this is the first I've ever heard say something like "Nope can't watch that. I also find it humorous watching Kat the scientist being squeamish about a medical procedure. Maybe I shouldn't talk I can barely give myself eye drops. Great episode one of the better ones so far.

The graphic novel "The Expanse Origins" is explicitly backstory for the TV characters as opposed to the book series, and covers some incidents from Amos childhood he might be referring to here. - Unlike "the churn" which is about teenage Amos.

Bryce, the churn has a prologue which has a spoiler iirc. I think they have to wait till after season 5 sadly.

I have recently re-read The Churn and do not remember a prologue, though I might be mistaken.
