This show was such a huge part of my childhood, I can't wait for you to experience it! Its rare these days to find someone who doesn't know anything about Avatar so the cultural perspective you'll bring i'm looking forward to!

First season is more kid-oriented and doesn't really knock it out of the park, though I still enjoy it. The second half of the series though, is what made it such an iconic cartoon for many people, can't wait to relive the series with you guys.

The fact that Katara doesn't think of herself as a child, but Aang does, is such a good little detail. Ever since Katara lost her mom she had to grow up real fast. She didn't feel like a child in a long time.
