Some of you might know that we have an open casting call for talented voice actresses, and we've been receiving tons of auditions which is really great. We've narrowed down a few now but more keep coming in. I'd like to post a few here to see what you guys think but I won't give share any of our feedback in case that influences your vote/comments :P

First up; two actresses who tried for Quill! Please vote on which you like more, or leave any feedback in the comments <3

First two lines were read by oh-gee. Second two were amree.

Yup yup. Once again, I liked the last one the best ^^

I like the second one. The first one is good, but just too monotone for me.

I liked oh-gee's delivery better, especially the pauses on the first line. I also preferred the not-completely-monotone style. However, I could hear some background sound quality issues in her takes, perhaps due to the microphone or file compression?

I liked oh-gee's delivery a little better although I agree that they're both pretty monotone.

I can't say I like either, they don' sound very natural.

This is kind of jarring to me, I didn't picture Quill as a monotone voice, I pictured her more as the innocent sweet personality. Though, regardless of my personal opinions there as far as monotone voices go these come off a little to strong. they should go for a more casual(?) way of doing, like a lazy monotone, as if she was just waking up from a nap.

lol xD cant take this seriously.

Yeah Quill (and Elle) are going to be the hardest... So far all the auditions have been really monotone, but I can't think of any good examples to share with the auditioners for the right sounding voice. Hmm..

They both sound too much like Eva and not at all what I imagined Quill to sound like.

A talented voice actress should be able to create the character just from the dialog. In movies directors sometimes use this thing called temp music (music from other movies) in the editing room and then ask the composer to recreate. This ends up preventing the composer from being able to use his own creativity in the scene because of the "forced" music. Maybe don't provide any directorial comments and just provide the dialog and a picture. I'd like to hear some of the more playful lines like "you need to sharpening your claws because they tickle me" and the one about "do you happen to have a stick and string asking for a friend." Hope this helps in some way, I'm sure you'll get her right.

Both are kinda surprising for Quill's character, but I guess amree was a little closer. I would normally expect Quill to sound more... nyantastic?

I like amree better out of these two. Reminds me of Koneko from Highschool dxd.
