In the og, shou tucker reasoning was that he was almost certainly going to get his alchemist license revoked, so he would rather see if he could make a fully talking chimera and lose his license than not create the chimera and still lose his license. Really messed up lol

I wonder if anyone asked inconvenient questions when Tucker produced his first chimera, or if he just got admired and rewarded. Maybe no one would've looked too closely this time either, if Ed and Al hadn't reported it.
