Thumbnail Layouts (Patreon)

Hey guys! It’s been a busy month, I didn’t want you guys to think I’d forgotten my early adopter crowd!

So, I’m starting to work on character design real soon now … but I’ve also been having a terrific time working from my story outline to create thumbnail page layouts for the comic. It’s a wonderfully creative act for me … I keep my outline loose and scriptless, which gives me a lot of leeway to make changes or additions as I’m putting things together visually or come up with ideas I would never have thought of typing into a word processor.

I’m wondering, especially for you higher-tier folks … Would you be interested in seeing a bit of the outline-to-thumbnail-layout phase of what I’m doing? I’ll try to keep things fairly compartmentalized, but there will be some spoilers for the story coming up, of course! I’m just curious what you’d like to see other than character designs, until I get to doing comic pages in the coming months.
