I still side with Felicity on this. First, I dont think broke off the engagement because she had no say in the decision to send William away. Second, Oliver made this decision based on the crappy advice given to him by Vixen, because he talked to her about it, he also briefly talked to Diggle about it, then made the decision without even letting Felicity in on the conversation, which to her was just the last straw of him lying to her and excluding her. Once again showing Oliver was okay with others knowing what was going on and not the woman he was planning on marrying. Like she said, he does not even attempt to open up to or lean on her like he should when things are tough.

I am a Felicity and Oliver shipper all the way but she should not be apart of the decision to send William away. Oliver barely has a relationship with his son and Felicity has never met William, her about to marry Oliver wouldn't change that since William has both parents still alive to make these kinds of decisions. The only way Felicity would of had a say was if they were already married, Samantha was dead and Felicity had adopted William and been a parent figure in his life but she isn't. The only thing Oliver would need to tell Felicity was that William was being sent away for his protection. I don't like that William being sent away was a contributing factor for her calling off the engagement saying it was something they should have discussed and figured out together.
