Installation & Updates (Patreon)

In General:

➔ When new content is released, you will usually only need to re-install any related Core Mod files.

➔ Updates can vary greatly, but I will include a list of updated files with the Changelog on my site. The list includes links to the updated content so you can download your files quickly.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

I've had reports of weird issues in-game if you are using mods created by TianaSims alongside of mine. If you still decide to use her mods with my mods, please keep in mind that you do so at your own risk.

Installing New Content:

1. Read the info on the download page so you know how to use the content.
2. Download and install any Required Mods listed on the download page.
3. Follow any instructions you might find alongside a file.
4. Check that you own the correct pack before installing. The pack icon is on the download page, and the pack code will be in the name of the file. You can find a list of pack codes and their respective names here.
5. Do NOT put ts4script files more than one folder deep, and do not put package files more than five folders deep.

Content Updates:

➔ Use the following guidelines when updating my content.

➔ Complete these steps EVERY TIME you update files to avoid errors and keep your save data safe.

1. Backup your Mods folder and your Saves.
2. Delete the files from your Mods folder that you will be updating. DO NOT overwrite files; in my experience, this almost always causes issues.
3. Clear your Cache.
4. Review the Changelog Summary for any additional instructions.
5. Re-download the updated files and install them in your Mods folder.
