Content Download Folder Info (Patreon)

As an extra perk, I've set up a system to share my custom content folder with Patrons. This folder contains all of my publicly released custom content organized similar to menu on my website.

This makes it super simple to download large updates containing lots of files. If you are a new Patron who has just found my content, it can also be a great way to catch up and download my content all at once!

IMPORTANT NOTE:  Access to this folder REQUIRES a connected Gmail account (details below).

Where can I find the download folder?

Once you have become a Patron you will find a link to the Download Folder in the pinned post on my main Patreon page.

How do I install it?

This folder is meant to be a resource to quickly download multiple files at a time and is not meant for drag-and-drop installation. That being said, if you own most packs then you can put the whole folder in your mods folder then scan through the subfolders and...

• Remove any files that require you to chose one version (they will have a text file in the folder that directs you to choose a version)
• Unzip and install the Core Mod file (it says Unzip-Me in the file name)
• Remove any files that belong to packs you don't own - you can find a Pack Reference list here: brazenlotus.com/reference

How do I get access to the folder?

New Patrons are automatically added to a Patron Downloads Google Group. There is a slight lag so it can take anywhere from 10-30 minutes to be added. Once a new Patron has been added they will be able to view and download individual files as well as entire folders.

NOTE: Automations will add and remove people from Google Groups based on your Patreon status so you will only have access to the folders at the other end of that link if you are a current and active Patron. If you cancel your subscription the automations will remove your access to the folder.

How do I connect my Gmail account?

This depends on what email you use here on Patreon:

• If you're signed up on Patreon with a Gmail address:  then you don't need to do anything, you should already have access!
• If you have a Gmail email, but you signed up on Patreon with a different email:  in this case you'll need to add the email you used for Patreon as an Alternate Email in your Gmail account.
• If you don't have a Gmail email:  you can't get access to the Downloads Folder

NOTE: If you change your Patreon email after you've pledged then you'll need to message me and  let me know so I can re-run the automations that give you access to the folder.

What do I do if it's not working?

• Go back and follow the instructions in the link above closely.
• If you add your email as an alternate email, but do not verify it, you will not have access to the folders.
• You must be logged into your Gmail account when you try to access the downloads folder or you may not have access to the folders.
• If all else fails the only other option is to change your email here on Patreon to your Gmail email. To do this, you can click your personal icon in the upper right of your screen, then go to 'My Profile Settings' and edit your email there. Please note that some Patrons have had issues with not getting a confirmation email from Patreon and therefore could not change their email.
• Rarely the automations will fail due to various reasons out of my control so if you're sure that you followed and completed all the instructions above but still don't have access feel free to message me here on Patreon and I will double check it for you.
