Okay, there's a lot attached here and I won't be able to make posts for another day or two so I'll try to get all the most important info below.

Separated Objects:

I did the wall art, the pillows, and the mini cowplant. The mini cowplant moves a teeny bit and you can name it as well. I also included a separated basic pot to use it with from base game. I'll be adding more separated pots and plants next month. I didn't finish the Eco Living beds. Between the short month and issues with the Mill I couldn't get to them.

Sugar Cane Harvestable

You can harvest this Spring to Fall, it will be out of season in the winter, will go dormant if exposed to freezing temperatures, and will give an extra crop when it's really hot outside.

Same info as usual, you can find the harvestable in the catalog with the bb.showhiddenobjects cheat active, or you can find them in seed packets if you're using the Xml Injector.

Electric Mill:

I ended up having to completely rebuild this mod after running into an issue I couldn't fix last weekend. I spent all week working out new tunings to make this work and I'm actually really happy that I did because it's more organized now. I'll also be able to use this as a base for more recipe projects soon!

You can purchase the mill from small appliances. Right now there are only 2 recipes, wheat flour and granulated sugar. There will likely need to be some tweaks to the textures and stuff later but what I've got is a good start. I even made a custom sound effect for it :D

I followed the same format of the cowplant milk - the bags of product can be sold from your sims inventory or on a retail lot or sales table. You can choose to grab a serving and you will get 1 measured cup of the item. I'm going to update my recipes to use these ingredients next week but for now you can at least play around with it and let me know what you think.

You need lvl.1 homestyle cooking in order to mill anything. Recipes will cost if you don't have the ingredients, but I may change this later to require the ingredients instead.

The bags of wheat and sugar also have 2 other states based on how much is left - a half full and empty version. I realized when I was taking pictures that I need to change the spoilage timer for these so they last way longer so I'll update that next week.

Here's a quick video of me using it: https://youtu.be/KLkByCrD6EE

Hopefully I didn't miss anything but if you all have questions or need clarification let me know.

It's amazing! Thank you! 😁 It would be great to see more recipes in the future, all based on your existing mods. For example corn flour, wheat flour and more.

And just a thought - did you think about a juice maker? 🤔

BrazenLotus

Yes! I have all these ideas for recipes but I really wanted to have the proper ingredients for them. It's such a pain to go back and edit recipes once they're finished so I decided to get all the basic ingredient creation stuff done before I start going crazy with new recipes lol.

BrazenLotus

I was looking at that because I would love to make a juice bar but there's one part I need to work out for it to look right. I'll actually be posting a poll this month with a list of appliances and recipes I think I can make for April ;)

Would you consider making a more rustic/historical hand crank mill for historical/cottage/off-the-grid use?

Anonymous

This is amazing! Does the milled flour/sugar work with the SCCO mod? Also, seconding what another poster said - it would be awesome to have a more rustic looking one in the future as well!

It is always a delight to see what cc you come up with next. And as usual, I am grateful for the separated items. Thank you for sharing.

BrazenLotus

Sure! The cool thing is it's 'set-it and forget-it' so you can come back and get the products at any time. The only issue is going to be the hand-crank part because it will need a custom animation to go with it. Are there any other types of mills that you can use without physical work? If so I can totally incorporate the same tuning into another object with a few adjustments.

BrazenLotus

Not yet. I've actually never installed SCCO (although I keep meaning to) and I want to test the objects to make sure I'm tagging things properly lol. I'll have an update for the mill to make it compatible with SCCO this coming weekend :)

The sugarcane downloads are not downloading right. They show a device image when dl and a page or script like aftrer downloading.

The granulated sugar & sugar cane aren't downloading correctly.

BrazenLotus

It should be working now. I think I need to give it a little more time to finish uploading before I post it next time.
