A voracious update, today I have progress on "Down the hatch" to show you guys!

Interactive HTML

MP4 Video (33MB)

We're almost there! The stomach/belly sequence, additional saliva/goo and the final tuning of the textures/lighting and I think we'll be able to call this one finished. There's the audio too although I will be outsourcing that to an experienced audio engineer who has expressed interest in working on this project. I don't know about you, but i'm pretty excited about that!

That said I am interested in you guy's thoughts on the new throat/gullet sequence. I've gone through several iterations on how to visualize it. A wide open gullet (looked too much like a tunnel and was plain besides) A clenched gullet (looked interesting but was visually disorienting) and finally the compromise you're looking at in the update. To give the idea of a narrow, tight passage that still lets you see ahead.

I cannot promise any changes, but your feedback is appreciated. I am especially curious about what you think I should do with the final moments before the camera enters the stomach. Note, you will be able to see the stomach proper as soon as the camera enters in the final animation, its just kept dark for the purposes of this work in progress.

Well, I guess that about covers it. In the previous post I expressed an interest in updating more often in the interest in keeping things rolling along, its been 11 days since the last news update, opposed to the usual 15. Its a start!

Love it! It's looking super good! I actually think the compromise gullet is my favorite one. Feels visually like it's squishy enough, but not overwhelmingly tight. I think it's a good compromise.

Also, for some reason I can't get the interactive one to finish loading. Would that be an issue on my end?

tasuric

Quite possibly, it loads fine for me, using Chrome and Edge on windows 10. Edit: and Firefox.

Hmmm. Maybe it's safari. That's what I'm using. The deep drake one loads fine, but for some reason it doesn't like down the hatch. Let me try chrome.

Yeah looks like safari was the issue. Loaded fine in chrome.

I love the work so far except for the fade to black is there any ways to remove it or to smooth it up? It kinda breaks the immersion for me.

Basically, showing what is meant to happen between the takes that are separated by the fade to black. If possible the initial swallowing part, Right now, the camera gets close to the back of the throat and unfortunately fades to black and appears deeper into it. That's my favorite part being cut out :3

That's a fair critique and a shortcut on my part for the purpose of the work in progress. I will attempt to do it properly of course. :)

Thanks, I'm a big fan of POV vore and stuff, so I'm eager to see the full animation.

Actually really happy to hear that! That was one thing I was a bit sad about as well, but wasn't sure if I should say anything yet, due to the fact that it was a work in progress still.

Back in the 2nd preview for the down the hatch there was a moment when there was a little bit more time spent in the mouth, more kinda... tongue play and such. As it stand right now, the animation looks fantastic, I’m sure a lot of hard works been put into it...but I’m curious if you’d bring that back in some way in the final cut. It felt as though it added a little bit more of the “enjoyment” in food with such a thing.

Master Yoshi

I think you're making the best esophagus view vore ever. You can do this!

tasuric

I put a lot of work into the tongue play segment for that preview, but feedback wasn't very positive about the camera movement (flipping back and forth) so I ended up simplifying it to what you see now. I am not sure what i'll do. I will certainly add some more variation to the current maw sequence, but it won't be as wild as it was before.

Pipvarok

Yea I could see that sagment taking more work. Personally I thought it added to it, the showing of the outside a bit through the mouth as the camera looked forward added to it, almost like the dragon would be toying with you. But more variations would be awesome, even if it isn’t the same as before. Thank you for keeping in this project! And keep up the hard work! x3

was kinda hoping for a swallow scene instead of a fade to black, however this is some top quality stuff so far
