News update - Deeper Drake (Patreon)

For this update I have a new work in progress for the the Deep drake animation with two new scenes leading up to the ultimate climax.

I'm almost finished with the animation. The new and last loop directly precedes the final scene depicted in render #2. I'll do my utmost to make it as messy as I possibly can!

Speaking of messy, I had hoped to produce an updated preview for Down the hatch as well, but unfortunately I suffered from a brief stint of what can best be described as "art block" in the animation department. That is also the reason why this update was posted late. I'll do my best to catch up by the end of this month.

In other news

You may be seeing more regular updates on my patreon feed going forward. Right now I work with a two week cycle where I post a significant update every 15 days wherever possible. There is no particular reason for this other than the old "per update" system we used to be on. Old habits die hard I suppose!

The problem with this way of doing things is that rather than working on animations in general until they're completed, I've been working towards completing updates. I could for example have continued work on the climax scene but a few days ago I had to begin preparing for this update. That's not very efficient, so I've decided to try at the very least to update more often using the materials I have, even if this means the previews don't look as nice or aren't packaged as well as they have been up to this point. After all, we all want to see the animations finished as soon as possible. Going forward, updates will be more frequent and smaller in scope.
