News update - Don't mind the banner image (Patreon)

Last update I showed you the new and improved dragon texture that came along with the improved mesh. There's a funny story about that! Well, funny from a certain point of view I suppose. A very certain point of view..

Due to a bug in my sculpting program which is responsible for rough detail like the ridges on the nose and neck I was forced to redo the entire texture for the second time. That sucked in that it ate up time and was somewhat frustrating. But there was an upside. After all every time you do something, you get a little better at it.

Here's some updated maw shots for the maw enthusiasts!

I've got to lash some more things together to make the drake fully operational once again, but we're getting there!

In other news

There is the animation "Reporpoised" that I had hoped to showcase today. That would be the animation of the two dolphin ladies getting into each other that I've spend the better part of a week on since the last update. Unfortunately that animation has proven to be extremely difficult! I've had to scrap days of work because ultimately it didn't work out the way I had hoped. Thus, no preview. I have to start over on that one.

It isn't all bad news though. I'm working on a surprise for you guys to reveal in a whale and its gonna be big! At least literally if not figuratively as well. Either way it'll be hard to miss!
