Fitting Room Progress! Now with actual character customization :) (Patreon)

We've been making great progress with the character creator. We've finished up UI design and are now going full speed ahead on actual character creation functionality, which you can see a brief clip of  at our Twitter

Player will be able to re roll the random number generators to get a new character, since hair style changing, clothes changing won't be in yet. This will lose all your changes so be careful with using it if you want to spend more quality time with a character your have made.

You can color swatch anything in the scene with the eye dropper, so we made a great color menu to take advantage of this! Players can switch between a full color spectrum and a preselection of samples we've taken from many animes. This includes skin, eye and hair color samples, so people who want to create good looking characters without spending a long time with mixing colors (and color blind people) can do so quite easily.  We sampled these from our favorite anime 2ds.

Players can further tweak colors using two Red Green Blue sliders at the bottom, and Saturation and Luminosity sliders to the side!

Selecting a category from the category menu will open up sub-categories with all the editable parameters (which there are seriously a crazy amount of, we are not looking forward to programming them all in :p) Selecting a sub-cat will load that color into the color mixer for tweaking, where taking color swatches with the eye dropper and sliding around the color values will update the color in real time on the character so you can quickly see if a color works or not. 

For non-color params such as hair shininess etc, the sub-cat buttons are sliders.

We don't have an exact date for the build which will include this, but it will definitely be this month at some point. Not all functionality will be in, but we aim to get most of the (around 50!) parameters in for the next build so Patrons can make basic characters. 

Ability to change character clothes will come later, and will be handled a lot differently to using the Category menu, where player almost literally dress characters  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) 

Saving and loading character may or may not be in the next build! Depending on how complex this is.

The locked category in the category menu can not be unlocked no matter what, so players should not try to unlock this.
