My gaze stuck on the blue-silver grass around the pond I created.

It surprised me how rapidly Ah Yin recovered. But I have no idea how much more she needs.

Does she need to reach that hundred thousand-year mark again? 

Whatever the case, she can take her time. I do enjoy watching how she grows like that.

Once I finished inspecting the growth, my eyes went to the wind wolves. None of them have reached a purple aura yet. Only the Datura Snake It had has regressed to only a metre long, and its skin has turned pink.

“Hmm, I could give them the apples.” 

I walked over to the orchards, and the branches lowered. The apples were golden with a tint of purple whisps.

These were fruits from an apple tree which was over 10 thousand years old.

It was strange, as apples, at such points, should focus on a single fruit as they are self-aware.

But these apple orchards continue to grow them in chunks.

‘Well, I could make one grow them regular apples while the other three could specialise in something else.’

But for that, I would need some specific energy or an animal which could give some of its spirit energy to the tree to absorb.

After giving the apples to the wolves, I proceeded to return to the hotel.

It took several hours as I had no idea where I was going.

That was until I found fences, which I used to return to the front.

By the time I got back to town, it had started to get dark.

Regardless, after I got back to my room, I noticed a fancy note on the table. I swiftly walked over and inspected it. 

After checking the front and the back, I opened the envelope; I could see the symbol of Spirit Hall, and the note was short and right to the point.

[We understand your request. Supreme Pontiff will see you in a few days; don’t leave the city.]

“A few days, huh? Considering how strong they are, they could fly to my location,” I exclaimed with a sigh. But whatever, a few days it is then.

I walked over to my bed and dropped into it. My eyes closed as I proceeded to sleep.

“Holy fuck!” 

My eyes bulged out as I saw the grass was everywhere around the pond. The core tree had grown up even more. It was a blue tree full of vines.

After inspecting the blue-silver grass tree and slightly calming down, I walked to the wolves.

They all had a purple aura around them.

“Well…” I looked at them as I decided to select my next spirit ring.

“I will go with you.” I pointed at the second from the right.

“Give me your spirit ring.” 

The wolf nodded as it walked over, and its ring surfaced.

At that moment, I summoned my dark grey wolf. The spirit ring flew over and proceeded to merge with the martial spirit.

After a short while, the merge was complete, and my cultivation once again skyrocketed.

It went to rank 26… and the second ring, the purple ring ability, was fascinating.

I summoned the wolf and merged with it. Two of my rings appeared behind me.

The purple one glowed as the ability was activated. 

In my clawed hand, a ball of wind was moulded, and several crescent-shaped blades appeared inside of it.

‘Second Ring Ability, Wind Ghost Wolf Crescent Blast!’

It was like a wind cannon, almost like a Ki blast!

“...Damn, I think I am going to start practising this stuff!”

After the first test, I continued to use this ability as I would shoot at a distance those crescent wind blasts.

As my energy reserves dwindled, I walked over and got some apples. Then I walked to the grass tree and sat down under it.

Once I got comfortable, I started to munch on apples.

“...Hmm? A rank up…” After eating the second one, I felt a rank up.

Now I was rank 27…

“Well, whatever…” Once full, I went back to shooting.

This time around, I closed my eyes and felt the energy moulding, taking the shape of a ball of wind full of sharp crescent winds.

I repeated the process for a while until I needed to recharge my reserves.

But…

The thing was, I was not hungry, so just eating apples again was a bad point.

Why don’t I cultivate instead?

I walked over and submerged by hand in the pond. I pulled out a little bit of water and then inspected it.

The water looked extremely magical to my noob's eyes.

At that moment, I realised that the water absorbed the spirit energy as well, and Ah Yin was slowly drinking it as well.

‘Does that mean her cultivation speed, which was fast already, is even faster?’

After realising this, I decided to expand the pond even further and then start drinking the water as well!

One can drink more than eat! So I can use the water more often than just eating apples.

I swiftly left the farmstead and then the hotel to get to the store.

But then I noticed the blue-haired teen with a full bag of stuff, and there was worry in his eyes.

‘Ah, yes, he will need to remove poison from his ‘grandmaster’ in some other way.’

I chuckled for a bit.

‘Wait… could I mess with him? What if I help him? If I help him now, in the future, he will have a harder time fighting against me.

I swiftly pulled out one of the bottles I bought, went inside my farmstead, and requested the Datura snake, which was already three meters long, again to give me some poison.

Once the beast poured enough, I returned to the real world and swiftly caught up with Tang San.

“Hey! You are that kid who fought against the Datura Snake, right?” I swiftly approached the blue-haired kid.

“...Yes. But I can’t speak right now. My master was poisoned by it.” 

“I know, that's why I am here. I got some of that poison. It's slightly stronger than the one you fought, so I don’t know if it will be useful in making an antidote.” I gave him the bottle.

The kid looked at me with wide eyes.

“Many thanks, that’s what I've been looking for!” He accepted the offered bottle.

“Good, anyway, good look with healing your Master.” 

He nodded. He was about to leave, but then he looked at me.

“Did I have seen you before?” 

At that moment, internally, my eyebrows twitched. 

‘This guy… just because I had no power before, he already erased my existence from his mind!’

“Not sure. Anyway, see you later.”

I waved my hand before walking away.

Tang San nodded as he swiftly rushed away to make an antidote.

The reincarnated boy opened the container, and an extremely potent and poisonous smell assaulted his nose.

He moved his head aside as he realised that it was the real deal, maybe even more potent than he remembered!

Whatever that boy was, he was talented if he could fight that Datura Snake and even the one from which this poison came from.

The blue-haired boy started to cook the antidote.

After a while, he created a stinking green liquid, which he poured into a bowl. It had quite a strong smell, so strong that he used a cloth to cover his nose.

He then proceeded to make his master drink it.

A few short minutes later, the white-haired man’s skin regained some of its healthy looks. But he was still weak.

‘From the looks of it, Datura Snake’s poison attacks the nervous system.’

‘Hope I am not too late. It would have been best if I took that snake and made it my first ring. But it was too old!’ 

Tang San realised that he was too weak to protect someone. How could he do so if he failed at such fundamentals?

‘Thankfully, that guy was around to deal with that snake.’

‘Now that I think about it, how strong is he?’

At that moment, he recalled someone who looked like that guy! But he had a Tool spirit.

‘It can’t be him, maybe he had a twin?’

The blue-haired teen pondered for a while. Then, with a wrong, his master woke up.

“San’er…”

“Master! You are up! How are you feeling?” 

The reincarnated boy asked his master.

“...Ugh…” 

The man slightly moved, but then he felt strange…

“I think my left leg…” Yu Xiaogang tried to move, but then he realised that his left leg was not responding to any of his actions.

Tang San’s eyes widened as he realised that the poison had done some permanent damage! 

“I am sorry, Master! I was too late to make the antidote!” The blue-haired boy immediately bowed.

“It’s fine, San’er… we were just unlucky.” The white-haired man said with a sign.

‘As long as I can prove to everyone that my theories are real, then it doesn’t matter what happens to me.’ He thought to himself as he looked at Tang San.

“What happened to Datura Snake?” Yu Xiaogang remembered that there was a snake!

“It was taken care of by another student. “

Well, Tang San wasn’t sure if it was a student. It should be a student, right? How else did that guy get so strong? He even looked similar to his physical age…

“I see… sadly, that beast was far too developed for you to take as your first ring.” 

The ‘Grandmaster’ said with a pondering look.

“We still need to get you your first ring.” 

All Tang San could do was frown as he realised that he still had not got his first ring. 

“Yes, Master.”

After discussing more, the teacher was about to leave his bed, but then he realised something crucial…

He didn’t feel it! Nothing at all! He didn’t even realise when he pissed himself!

The snake's toxins have ravaged his nervous system. He can’t even sense his tool! 

From the looks of it, his tool doesn’t work normally anymore!

It was quite embarrassing to soil himself in front of his pupil!

I looked through the window back at my hotel. My gaze went towards the academy, and at that moment, I wondered how they were doing.

“I do wonder how it ended with Yu Xiaogang. Knowing the main character’s aura, he should be alive… at least.” I said to myself as I thought about what to do next.

“Well, I should get to my grinding. I should reach the next major rank before I meet Bibi Dong.”

For a second, I did some math in my head. I might reach Rank 40 before she arrives.

With a casual step, I reappeared in the farmstead, walked over to the pond, and got some water to fill the bottle container.

I got several of those to keep the farmstead water.

Once the bottles were full, it was time to return to my cultivation.

Since I was slightly hungry, I got a couple of apples, which filled me up really quickly and pushed my cultivation towards the breakthrough.

‘Here it comes!’ 

I could feel the surge of power.
