Artist's Commentary:

So, the idea for the descending panels came about when I was drawing the thumbnails for this page, and realized hey, I could do descending panels! Any time I want there to be a feeling of spiraling, descending or repetitive panels is a great way to do it. I change primarily the zoom amount (because the closer you get to someone in a panel, the more involved you are with their feelings), and in this one, the actual position of the panels to show that "descent."

If i were to do that over, I'd probably make the last panel a different proportional size, since Belfry puts a stop to her panic spiral. That would change it abruptly and visually, signalling an end to that thought. But I didn't do that this time. Ah well!

Also, the last few lines echo the first chapter, though that was unintentional at first. Then I thought, hey cool, this echoes the first chapter. Now I'm going to tell people I meant to do that the whole time.
