Worldbuilding: Gryphons (Patreon)

Hi guys! It's time for another worldbuilding post! This time it's about gryphons, which is a mythical creature that's been a great love of mine since I was teeny tiny. Gryphons and centaurs, especially in the Autumn quarter, are very alike: too alike to get along. They're not a fan of centaurs, especially not after what the centaurs did to them. (What was that? You'll have to find out!) Gryphons flock like birds but have the independence of cats. They have a loose organization, mostly different family units with a council of heads of family to make decisions for the Autumn species as a whole when it's needed. Like centaurs, their two halves are chosen more through ambient magic than genetics. Any bird and any cat is viable for their species. Once more, $25+ folks, you can make a gryphon if you'd like, and it'll go in the comic! (I'll also be doing some character design sketches of each character in the future, when I'm not so drug out.) ---- Other news: I'm going to be working on another comic while I claw out this one's niche; something to get back into practice with lower stakes. That comic will also be available on here in the meantime. This one will also be an unconventional magical girl comic because that's apparently where my interests lie! But this will be in a more modern setting.
