3 - You don't understand the greatness of magic circles

RAW

Cleaning clothes, cleaning messy rooms, using familiars to deliver newspapers…
Oops. I shouldn’t forget the guild quests.

My guild rank is C, but it would be reckless for a magician who can't use offensive magic to take a subjugation quest of a C-rank monster.
Most of the time, I'm processing leftover low-rank miscellaneous quests, and if I'm lucky, I do only D or C-rank collection quests.
It's only a matter of time before I get kicked out.

Now, many would question.
Even if the cost performance is good, won’t my magic power run out?

No problem
The light element has few means of attack, but only the amount of magical power is big.
Moreover, since my job is a magician, it is even higher.
Even moreover, I drink magic pills to recover my magic power three times a day.
Even while sleeping, I use an original formula IV drip that continuously sends magical power through the magic circle.

It’s not good if I only do this huh.

The only ones I haven't touched are the wealthy.
However, I don't think they will trust immigrants and hire them. On top of that, there are some distinguished families with direct ties to the royal family. It feels like I will receive some kind of harassment instead.

…If that happens, should I leave the A Empire?

In this different world, there was a successful career status associated with moving to the empire, it’s like moving to Tokyo, but the more I lived here, the more the empire itself became a theme park of government supported black workplaces in lawless areas.
Since it was too lawless, I went with the “Oh, isn't this just the right place to earn experience points?” attitude, but once I earned experience points there is nothing else to do.
I guess once I finish earning all I can from constructing the wall after the [Ditch Cleaning], it would be time.

If all I want is to be an adventurer, I don’t mind if I belong to a guild in a place other than A Empire.

It was just when I thought that.
A distinctive tone and voice that I haven’t heard in a long time resound from the heavens.

―――The level of light magic has reached 10.

―――[Holy] acquired.

Half in doubt, I bring up a semi-transparent window through which I could check my status, look through the letters, and once I recognized it, I let out a roar.

“Ossshaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Here I comeeeeeee!!”

In one month… No! In one week, I’ll get used to combat!!

In my room in the guild's lodgings, I double checked the [Holy] magic circle that I had researched before, and hammered it into my head.

A magic circle molded into a spherical shape appears in mid-air and light magic energy is generated in its center.
This is the thing that can hold [Holy] in a sphere.

It's a [Holy Ball] based on the fire magic [Fire Ball] to make it easier to use.
The magic power consumption is 5.
According to the calculation, the power is about enough to kill an E-rank monster in one hit.
The low power is due to the magic level. The higher the level, the higher the power, should be.

[Clean Water] and [Quick] which I often use in cleaning work, combined to make a water jet.
Everyone probably thinks, “If you increase the power, can’t you make a water cutter?”
That’s not possible.
It seems that because [Clean Water] itself is not an attack magic, it cannot be converted into damage.

But! If you incorporate [Holy]... it becomes a flying water slash [Holy Slash].
The magic power consumption is 15.
According to the calculation, the power should be enough to kill the D-rank monster Dos Eagle in one hit.

In addition, combining [Clean Water] and [Holy] result in a powerful water bullet [Holy Charon].
The magic power consumption is 30.
This is a move I devised against a hypothetical golem type monster. It’s power is also high.

…I finished double checking the magic circle including those above.
What’s left is just the actual battle.
If you have attack magic, no matter what it is, you can defeat monsters. You can also accept subjugation quests.

I'm just getting started.
Watch yourself now, you guild scum.

――――

(T/N: banished and kicked out has the same kanji. I don’t know why I’m translating it into two different words.

I have a lot of trouble translating this chapter. So some sentences may be wrong, but they shouldn't be wrong. Or rather, I liberally changed some sentences to preserve their meaning, because, Japanese language is really different to English.

Holy Charon: ホーリーカロン. I don’t know the correct translation, even google can’t help)
