A Nanosatellite From RNA

It doesn’t fly, but researchers from Aarhus University and Berkeley Laboratory have found a way to coax RNA molecules into custom shapes, and created a tiny satellite just to prove their point. Much of the advances in this technology come from improved imaging methods, such as Cryo-Electron Microscopy and X-ray scattering, and ways to quickly implement the feedback these imaging methods deliver. The researchers hope that their achievement will be useful for drug design. Press release here, paper here.

New Measurements Confirm that Earth Has An Innermost Inner Core

Few of you will remember but about 20 years ago, a group of geophysicists suggested that earth’s inner core has an even more innermost core. Researchers from the Australian National University have recently published a new data analysis that supports this hypothesis. Earth’s inner core is solid, and probably made from iron and nickel. It seems to have a core that has a markedly higher density, probably a different crystal structure. Paper here, press release here.

Hypnosis Better Than Prayer for Pain Management

A study at the University of Lisbon on more than 200 adults found that hypnosis and mindfulness meditation work better for pain management than Christian prayer. The new study was published in the Journal of Pain Research, not to be confused with the Journal of Pain, which in 2011 published the results of a seminal study showing that swearing helps against pain.

The core is exactly as predicted by Stoyan Sarg: https://www.amazon.de/-/en/gp/product/1412083877/ It is the source of the magnetic field, anisotropic and very dense (it is a very dense crystal made from 2 types of kaons. Please note, that one of those types does not exist in the proton and not in the standard model - it is a spacial deformed antimyon). The original orientation when it forms, will later define the magnetic pole axis, so the 40° Uranus field is no problem in this model. The core starts to grow at ~ Mercury mass in planets (there is a non continuous function in planet growth. Mercury will start to shrink in the future or already started while the crushed protons will crystallize into this structure. The shrinking should stop around the size of Calisto, but then with a magnetic field and a shallower curve. Fig. 10.7) Most astronomical phenomena have to do with this core. From sun activity and cycles, supernova, pulsars (pulsar glitches are crystal defects. Pulsars have a neutrino burn zone in which neutral and positive neutrinos are emitted from burning kaons), black holes,... in second degree even a quasar. But without understand the underlying principles of this model, this will not make much sense. To vast are the differences.

In my opinion, prayer has a lot to do with patience and faith. If you expect immediate results, you likely are defeating the purpose. I think if a true believe is honest with themself, they would understand that we are so far removed from the people depicted in the bible that we should expect to endure lifetime of tribulation. The book of Job has more on this. Meditation, which is another GOD given gift from the bible, is our ability to exercise control over mind, body, and spirit. Results are more immediate because this ability is something we were born with. Even so, few will ever exercise it.

"The researchers hope that their achievement will be useful for drug design." I have to ask, why always drugs? While drugs are useful and provide benefit, they generally are used to maintain unhealth rather than fix what's broken. The example is RNA, so the focus can be on repairing broken systems, at least to the point that function overwhelms dysfunction. For example, using a virus to deliver functional segments of DNA to replace dysfunctional segments. I have read that this line of research is happening, but the articles always mention 'drugs' and they are not a solution, they just buy time.
