Tom & Dan didn't play HL2 the year it came out, but it's low system requirements (Single Core CPU, 1GB of DDR2, DirectX 8.1 GPU) made it a godsend to play when our PCs weren't so high spec...and it left quite an impression on us.

One could argue Half Life 2 set the gold standard for what people should expect in graphics, AI, gameplay pacing, and story in a FPS that still hasn't really been eclipsed yet...besides graphics, but even then it's graphics held up for ~decade.

I played HL2 but got into it much later than others. Overall, I was not impressed. It was top tier but I always felt like our standards were set much to low. Felt more like we were happy to get any solid improvements, despite how far we still had to go at that time.

We'd love to. I am bit concerned most people voted for fewer gaming episodes, but that one is on the list. It's important people let us know they like these episodes.

I got a quest 2 for Christmas and I have loved using it! If you are worried about refresh rate they are adding 120Hz to the quest 2 as well soon, becoming a better investment every day! https://www.roadtovr.com/facebook-hints-oculus-quest-2-120hz-refresh-rate/ It is possible that all games were made in 70hz (or whatever it was) for the quest 1 and so they are waiting to push out the higher refresh rate updates to give developers more time in case it causes issues with those apps or something, that could be the only problem that I see.
