also, i fully support you telling to tell fanboys to go fuck themselves at the end of every video. Sounds like it would make for a good additional pre-recorded outro. ;)

I also do need to drop a small comment on underdog vesus best product... sometimes the underdog has a product which is niche because they're the underdog, and knowing which is better is hard. I bought an alienware laptop with an RX 470 in it years ago, as I needed portability at the time (RIP my wallet at the time) and Optimus/NVidia had (and has) burned me to much in the past. ended up being a better experience (IMO) than Optimus, and now that I've ended up with a 1060 laptop, also seems to have kept about equal performance. I had a point with this comment, not sure where it went. Something about it being hard to tell if the underdog offers a better product in niche scenarios sometimes. ________ ________ ________ Also, ON TOPIC, I find it funny I'm called an ARM fanboy by people for the last many years on every discord i've been on, but an x86 fanboy whenever I talk with the real ARM fanboys on the wider web. :)

I suppose the inverse of a fanboy are haters. I don’t own a Mac but I know why people do own them and what there value proposition is. By pointing this out to people I have been a fanboy by people who are wound up with anti-apple sentiment.

Every time people talk about how bad Fermi and Bulldozer were/are, I have to cringe away the memories of the time I knew nothing about PCs and bought a gtx 550 to pair with my fx 4100

I will argue against your claim Xbox is definitely inferior this time with the argument of audio. The PS5 uses a proprietary audio engine while the Xbox uses Dolby Atmos. That's just a different way of processing the data and not the same as the SNES vs Genesis with compressed audio. I do think the SSD on the PS5 will be more impressive but I think it will be under utilized in most 3rd party games. It will make Sony's exclusives more impressive but personally I haven't liked Sony's exclusives since the PS2 era ended. There hasn't been a good ratchet game since PS3, Jak and Daxter has been dead, Sly is also dead, etc. Now all we have are insert new Uncharted one reskin. Ghosts of Tsushima and Spiderman are pretty cool but really that's it for me. Even God of War felt far too much like a movie and less action to be fun to me. I was never a movie person so movie people probably love it, but I will always prefer more arcade feeling adventures and sandbox style games. Why I say Halo 1-Reach are f*cking master pieces. Shame 343 killed that series basically.

I suspect that the audio-capabilities of the PS5 end up much the same as the SSD. Superior when utilized, but under-utilized by most cross platform games.
