The HD 6000 series from AMD has a special place in me and Dan's hearts.   In many ways it was a perfect generation in terms of price/performance and features...and yet it seemed to disappoint many.

I really miss the artwork on graphics cards. Yes there was the animated chicks, but there were also some cool product tie-ins with games that looked pretty cool. I have two cards, a GTX 470 and a HD 5770, with shrouds shaped like cars. It was just more interesting. Graphics cards today all look the same.
