Today we will be recording a Broken Silicon we have been holding onto for a while - Dan's PC building history.  You have all had a chance to hear about Tom's journey from Ivy Bridge to Zen 2, and 560 Ti to RADEON VII.  But what about Dan?

Dan has touched quite a few components: i7-920, Phenom II, FX-8320, i7-5775C, and on and on.  Send us your comments, questions, and insights into anything involving retro parts in the last 10 years.

Now is the perfect time to do this episode as we prepare for multiple retro Die Shrinks, and MLID just got done comparing Fermi, Kepler, and GCN.

Over the last 10 years, what has been more revolutionary while gaming? The graphics? The resolution? Or the framerate(say 30-45, 45-60 fps jump? Dan first please, with Toms follow up. Thanks guys👌

How do you think the mid-high range path (i7s, FX 8c, Phenom 6 cores, etc.) has compared to the lower range path (i3/i5, FX 4/6c, Phenom 4c, etc.) through this time?

Would you say piledriver/buldozer is comparable to netburst in their failings?

Did the parts Dan touched report him to the police? Sounds like harassment to me.
