When did portable gaming really take off?  Does it still make sense for most people, or even for PC at all?  What would be the perfect form factor?  How many questions can I make you read before you just press play?  Apparently one more....right?

Xbox swapped A/B and X/Y when they copied the SNES layout.

Actually it probably came from the Dreamcast which has the same layout as Xbox.

The only potable game system I had was a Sega game gear back in the day (circa 1991). The only game I remember was Shinobi which freaking broke me. It was a lug but with a colour screen was luxury compared to the game boys of the day. I have a switch (for the kids I swear, but zelda BOTW is the best game I've played in years, but it's for the kids). Now with phones being as good as they are now I just game on my phone if I want too, making my through starwars KOTOR at the moment. It would be cool to have cross platform support so you could pick up a steam game to play on the train and then continue on desktop when your home. Like stadia but not shit.
