"Project Snowcrash" animated Cyberpunk series concept art and developments! (UPDATE) (Patreon)

Normally I don't share previews of my projects this early on, but I love giving my Patrons exclusive content and I thought it would be fun to also share a little bit of background and context for how I develop my projects! :)

For those who don't know, Project "Snowcrash" is the working title for my most ambitious animated project to date, a project I've hand in mind as my "dream project" for almost 10 years. It's an original Gender Bender Cyberpunk animated series I'm directing and writing a 20 minute long pilot episode for!

The 2D images you see here are drawn by Jian Sketch and are early thumbnails for the main character of the series, Nova. Our story (Currently!) begins by revealing that Nova was once a depressed boy-failure of a college student who, after a terrible accident that nearly killed them, had their body fully replaced with a cybernetic one.

The 3D models here were sculpted by Kakaiya and are work in progress versions of the 3D base mesh that will be used both in the 3D story-boarding process of the pilot episode as well as the 3D base that will be used to build most characters in the series from. (This is the same process animated series like Arcane use in order to speed up workflow and have the ability to transfer animations to other characters seamlessly.)

The second draft of the script is now complete, meaning that I can begin story-boarding out the first episode hopefully sometime later next month! And while these things are all subject to change, I also plan to incorporate music as a storytelling tool in the same way I have in my music videos and team up with artists I'm very lucky to know such as the Battle Tapes, which is very exciting! ❤️
