[Vol. 1 pt. 18]

“Go right after you enter the plaza,” I was told, so that was what I did. Doing so took me out of the plaza and placed me on a quiet, shaded path that managed to somehow be even more peaceful than the rest of the town so far. I already thought things were as peaceful as they could get, but that ended up being wrong.

I had no idea a place this… nice existed anywhere.

It wasn’t like I could remember many places to compare it to or anything, but I had a strong feeling that nowhere could compare to it.

Even the beasts in the area seemed happy. Winged beasts chirped in the tree, smaller ones ran around from tree to tree, and there was no short amount of strident mating calls from the tiniest of beasts. That was something only really experienced when out in the middle of nowhere like this. Developed areas with trees chopped down and dirt dug up didn’t provide homes for beasts. A place like this, though, where people and beasts seemed to live in harmony with nature was nice.

But it wasn’t without its dangers. I doubted we were all that far from where Lada was attacked, and I saw other hostile beasts around on the islands. Having trained guards was important for regions like this. There was no telling when a stray beast might visit the town and hunt for prey. With all the trees and foliage around the place, it would be easy to sneak and hide, too.

Cities and developed towns didn’t really have that problem. Cities had walls to protect them and towns had cleared fields surrounding them to provide good vision of the area. This place had neither.

Mirna mentioned that adventurers didn’t really visit and I couldn’t blame them. While there was definitely some room for adventuring work, it would quickly dry up if a bunch of them visited.

The town probably had a good enough balance with the guards. Just enough guards to keep the people safe without running out of work and completely destroying the local ecosystem.

There was nothing I would change about the town I found myself in.

More importantly, when I came to the end of the shaded path, it opened up to a decently sized field with what looked like a farmhouse in the distance. There were wooden fences around the fields, and I could see a few different beasts roaming within the fences. Some of the beasts were large with black and white spots while others were fat and pink as they walked around on short legs. They looked familiar, but I couldn’t quite name them.

What really caught my eye was to the left of the path. Before reaching the fence, there was a split in the path that led down to a short but wide building with what almost felt like an excessive number of windows lining its walls. Outside of the building was a group of about twenty children, looking like they varied in age from five to nine, playing around with each other. Some were chasing each other, a few were sitting around a board on the grass playing some sort of game, and a couple were even reading while sitting against the building.

Those twenty kids were probably all of the kids in the town. Any teens were most likely helping out their parents with work and anybody younger was probably still being taken care of at home by family. The whispering kids from the plaza were there, too. They must have went over while I was getting my reading.

I figured it must have been a school. Part of me was curious about what sort of teacher they must have, but then I remembered how I looked.

Looking like a Corrupted with a bunch of tentacles would probably freak the kids out. While there wasn’t necessarily wrong with enjoying the sight of youth living their lives, there was probably something wrong with somebody who looked like me doing it. So, before I could cause any misunderstandings or scare the kids, I carried on toward the farmhouse.

That was when I saw the large, wooden doors of the nearest barn building swing open. Mighty beasts on four legs with manes of hair running down the backs of their necks came running out from the barn, clearly excited to be out in the open.

One of them in particular caught my eye the most. It was a beast who, without needing much inspection, was clearly a male. The male tried mounting what looked like the nearest female while swinging a massive third leg—or rather, a massive fifthleg underneath his frame.

Seeing that oversized tool made me remember my lack of one.

I wish I had one of those. But maybe that’s too big. Then again… it’s not like I would have to stick the whole thing inside if I had one that big.

I felt my body over again with my tentacles.

Nothing.

Enjoy it, you lucky beast.

Life wasn’t fair when a soulless beast had something like that while I had nothing.

Before I could feel too jealous, I used my tentacles to climb over the gate to the farmhouse since that was easier than opening it and continued my approach. I was out there to get milk and eggs, not to feel jealous of a beast.

But before I could reach the farmhouse, a woman from the barn that just opened up yelled out to me as she ran over toward the fence that separated us.

“Hey! I heard about ya!” the woman shouted.

Word really does spread fast around here if she heard about me all the way out here.

I couldn’t see too much of her because of the fence, but I could at least see that she was wearing overalls.

And then I saw more of her. A lot more of her.

She reached the fence and leaned forward over it, resting her bust on top of it that almost caused her breasts to spill out through the sides of her overalls. She was tall with short, brown hair and had a pretty cute face… but she also looked like she had on absolutely nothing other than the overalls.

Not only that, but she had ears, horns, a tail like those beasts with the black and white spots.

A beast—a soul beast with a humanoid body? She had to be a transbeast. If there was a transbeast living here, that explained Dobrin’s experience with reading soul beasts before.

But even more important than that… was the question of who was bigger? I already thought Lada was massive when it came to her breasts, yet it looked like this new woman’s might have been even bigger! How was that even possible?! Did she have some sort of enhanced spine capable of not snapping under the weight of those things?! And given that this woman was even taller than Lada while still having her chest look bigger… they were seriously massive.

Was it something in the water? Were the women in the village all drinking or eating something that made them grow such oversized busts? No, that couldn’t be it. Granny’s were… well, it wasn’t like I checked out her chest much, but it would have been obvious if she was as stacked as the others. Then there was Mirna. Mirna’s chest wasn’t ridiculous or anything, either.

I felt intimidated just looking at this woman’s chest. If Lada’s were mountains, then this woman’s were the tallest peaks in the world. The mountains of Lada’s chest could be scaled with time and effort, but one would need years of training and countless supplies to scale the highest peaks and survive when it came to this new woman.

“Something wrong?” the woman asked, looking at me with a concerned expression as she leaned harder against the fence, causing her breasts to spill out through the sides of her overalls even more.

I felt even more jealous of that beast with the fifth leg now.

[Vol. 1 pt. 19]

“Is there something on me?” the woman asked, looking down at her own chest since that was where I couldn’t resist staring. She was, apparently, completely unaware of the sight she was giving me by leaning against the fence like she was.

Fortunately, I managed to regain control of my senses for long enough to write a message.

NOTHING WRONG.

GOT LOST IN THOUGHT.

SORRY. HELLO.

“Oh! That so? Well, that’s alright!” she said. “By the by, name’s Korova. Nice to meet ya!” She then leaned even more over the fence to hold a hand out to me for a shake. This did two things. One, her breasts no longer looked like they were about to pop out from the sides of her overalls since they weren’t getting pressed against the top of the fence anymore. Two… because she was leaning over to the point where she was about to tip over the fence, and I was amazed she hadn’t yet considering she put what was probably most of her weight on my side of it, I now got to see her breasts hanging down within her overalls. I felt like I was peering into an endless ocean of cleavage. Somebody could get lost in there and not find their way out for years! Maybe even an entire lifetime wouldn’t be long enough to find freedom!

Then again, if somebody got lost in there, would they even want to find freedom in the first place? I would, but only because I’d miss Lada.

Right. Lada. What would she think of me staring at another woman’s chest like this? She’d probably think I’m some sort of degenerate, perverted creature and want nothing to do with me.

I had to remain pure. That was why I forced myself to look at the woman’s cute, tomboyish face and shook her hand with one of my tentacles.

NICE TO MEET YOU.

Korova smiled and gave my tentacle a good, firm shake. “Ya got a name? Sorry, haven’t heard anybody else say what it is yet.”

A… a name?

I didn’t, in fact, have a name yet. I probably had one, but I had no idea what it was.

In that case… what was I supposed to say? I was a person. People needed names. Having names made communication easy. To not give myself some sort of name would complicate things for everybody else, and I didn’t want to cause them any trouble no matter how minor it might have been.

What should I say? What should I call myself? I can’t think of a single… name.

My thoughts drifted when I saw something else.

After shaking my hand, Korova went back to leaning against the fence… and I saw two damp spots form on her overalls in front of her breasts.

She didn’t take long to notice it, either.

“Ah, drat. They just won’t stop leaking today. Must have been something I ate. Ah… if only Lada was here,” Korova said with a sigh.

What’s Lada have to do with this? There’s no way I can resist asking.

Why Lada?

“Well, she’s my best friend, and she really knows how to milk me until there’s not a drop left to put it bluntly. I know she might look like somebody who’d have no idea how to do that sort of thing, but she has some incredible endurance with her hands. No idea what she’s done to get so good with them. So, she comes over a few times a week to help me out. I’ve even offered to make it up to her, but she always tells me she’s happy to help and turns down any sort of payment. Let me tell ya, there ain’t a girl more kind than she is in the whole world.”

Lada is already so busy with the inn but still helps her friend out for free a few times a week? She’s too good for this world.

“Hey,” Korova continued, “if ya don’t mind… think ya could help me out? Sorry, Lada’s not here and my own hands just ain’t cutting it today. The rest of the folk in the village… well, let’s just say that they might tolerate me now, but… a lot happened. I can’t bring myself to ask any of them for help. And those tentacles… depending on how tightly ya can wrap them, they might do the trick.”

What? Sounds like she’s not on good terms with them, but everybody there seemed beyond friendly. How could they have a problem with her? Wait, no. Think about it. Korova… is a transbeast. Beasts don’t get souls unless they’ve killed a person and taken theirs. She could have killed another soul beast and taken its soul, but that’s extremely rare and unlikely for some remote place like this. The most likely theory is that… she’s killed somebody from the village.

I looked at the where the other beasts with ears and tails like her were. Beasts commonly kept as livestock wouldn’t be found out in the wild.

Maybe she killed somebody who used to work or live here?

Whatever the reason for her having a soul was, she did say the rest of the villagers at least tolerated her now. And if Lada was best friends with her, then she couldn’t have been that bad.

That also said something about just how kind and accepting Lada was. First, she accepted me and even slept with me, and then she was Korova’s best friend.

Well, technically, being Korova’s friend came first.

But the point stood. The more I learned about Lada, the kinder of a woman she turned out to be.

If it meant helping a friend of Lada, then I had no reason to turn down helping Korova!

Wait. What did she ask about how tightly I can wrap my tentacles?

The damp spots on her overalls were growing larger and larger. “Please?” she asked me, a hint of red coloring her cheeks now.

I only just met this woman and I was already about to… milk her.

The rural life was a strange one.

But even so.

WILL HELP LADA’S FRIEND.

I couldn’t say no. Even if she wasn’t Lada’s friend, I probably couldn’t have refused somebody who was in need of help.

There might also have been a part of me that was extremely excited about the implication of me wrapping my tentacles around her breasts. And if Lada helped her with milking, then she’d understand if I helped, too.

((Next chapter might take a while to come out because I think I might get an illustration for the next chapter, too. I don't plan on it being a full on sex scene chapter, though, so maybe not. And it would probably take two weeks to get a proper finished picture of our tiny MC here milking Korova with his tentacles. The first two actual sex scenes are illustrated already and won't need a wait, but this one... hrm. I don't know. Is there an interest in seeing her getting milked by tentacles? Either comment and let me know or, if you're too shy to leave a comment, just make sure to leave a like on the chapter. If the chapter gets more likes than usual then that'll tell me what I need to know. ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ))
