Comic Report #10 - Going Out With A Bang! (Patreon)
Content
In planning the page I wanted to capture an action but obscure the actor, so I'm designing it in the first person. The main hallway of the building has doorways, stairs and doorframes strategically placed as reference points to convey that the camera is actually moving on a trackable path, and we're not simply zooming in on the Sheriff. Each subsequent panel gets narrower and narrower, and the line dividing them is going to have a quicker and quicker EKG pulse to try and capture mounting tension leading up to the final moment. I'd actually thought about if I wanted to pull the camera back for the Bang! on this page or not but I have an idea to imply it more cleverly on the next page.
This page is mostly just backgrounds with one figure in not-all of the panels so it should be fairly quick to paint, I want to say by this time next week the page should be done and posted. I'll try to stick to that.
Thanks for sticking with me!
