Poor Anthony Dimmond was so horny, and his only sin—in Hannibal's eyes—was not being Will Graham. Rest in peace, slutty king😔 No, but for real. I find it so interesting how Dimmond is basically everything Hannibal should want: cultured, clever, interested in poetry and art, fits in with high society, is super chill with some casual murder, etc. But Hannibal just can't bring himself to stay interested in him for longer than a day or two bc it all feels so shallow compared to the deep connection and understanding he built with Will. Dimmond doesn't work as a rebound, and neither does Bedelia. At the end of the day, Hannibal still just misses Will and wants him back, despite the betrayal and the wounds they've dealt each other.

Ah Anthony... Will Graham light. I wonder how many substitutes Hannibal tries out. This half of the season has Hannibal being very out of character for himself. Very reckless. It's kinda cute how broken his heart is.
