IM SO SORRY ABOUT THIS ENDING AND ALSO ABOUT THIS EVENT! I loved how your face journey was so on par with Meng Yao's own reaction, and the layers of horror and shock and realization and aaaaaaa aaaaaaa aa aa !!!! I've been waiting for this moment for ages and it paid off, but now I'm suffering waiting to see you react to the resolution of this moment also!! aaaa!! I seriously get stomaches from how miserable and sad and good and brilliant this moment is. It's because A-Yao manipulated and lied to Xichen so many times and made him distrust his own judgement so badly that Xichen couldn't take a second to look behind him first, he'd sworn to himself that he wouldn't hesitate and give A-Yao another chance... ARGH> > . And Huaisang..... One thing I love about Yao is that he's a manipulative little weasel (I say, affectionately) even when he Is experiencing genuine emotion. Like, I think he is generally hurt and offended and sad when Xichen pulls a sword on him or tells him not to call him Er-ge anymore? Even though it was 100% deserved? I think he's genuinely miserable about his father and genuinely would've preferred to not do his dirty work etc (obviously this isn't an excuse; he's definitely also a sociopath who is guilty of a bunch of heinous shit!) but that genuine emotion coexists with him being as manipulative as possible at any given moment??? God, he's the worst and I love him.

Anyone else skip to the end to see the cutoff for the episode to see her outrage? Or am I the only terrible person? :) I'm so sorry, but I've been waiting for this specific episode cut for so long, and the reaction what just A+++. (sorry brittany!)

Going back to Meng Yao's wedding - there was a reason we were shown that, besides the whole "OMG Meng Yao is gorgeous in his wedding robes! Why couldn't we see any guys we liked dressed like that?" See, the bit when he pulls off the bride's veil, that's the kind of point of no return for the wedding. Also, he couldn't cancel the wedding because Qin Su was already pregnant. Also, Qin Su's mom waited much too long to spill the beans to Meng Yao, because there was no way Meng Yao could walk away from a betrothal when the bride to be was already pregnant. This was really a case of Meng Yao being too clever for his own good - he probably consummated before marriage to ensure that they couldn't be separated if Qin Su's dad suddenly decided that Jin Guangshan's bastard son wasn't good enough for his little girl. But now that he has, he's locked in.

OOf that ending! I know so well what happens and I still covered my mouth in shock just seeing it happen again! The wait to finish that last ep must be so painful! Cannot wait to see that last reaction! 😂

((Edited for spoilers!)) Brittany, I am very sorry for your emotional turmoil, but your reaction is EVERYTHING. Omg you could not even do your usual outro, I'm so sorry, I'M SO SORRY. You see why many of us wanted you to do the two final episodes together tho??? I cannot wait for the livestream on Monday, ahhhhh! And oh, your reaction to JGY's confessions. Because that's the thing, isn't it? He truly believes he had no choice in so many of his actions... and because he's convinced of it, and because he's going for that Oscar, he starts to make others believe him. At the end it seems like LXC, while not absolving JGY of his crimes, will at least be lenient enough to let him live (and possibly lock him away in Cloud Recesses - recall LXC's story to WWX back in ep. 43, and how he wondered whether his father did the right thing by locking away his mother for her crimes). ALSO, CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT JIANG CHENG KEPT CHENQING ALL THAT TIME, *ON HIS PERSON*, JUST SO HE COULD RETURN IT TO WEI WUXIAN AT THE PRECISE MOMENT IT WAS NEEDED??? *moves to the woods in order to scream forever about the Yunmeng siblings*

Something I love about this episode that I noticed only when I rewatched it for the second time is how Baxia suddenly attacked Su She after Nie Huaisang was hurt. As if Da-ge was protecting his little brother from beyond the grave.

i love love love the untamed but the thing that bothers me is that they made WWXs "Loosing control" not his fault in the scenes with Jin Zixuan and Yanli. The story is still good (great) but this bothers me.
