Teacher Wei Ying is hot. That is for sure. If you notice, in every step he kind of explained or taught the kids. Especially when he made the ducklings see the girl and then asked them to explain what they saw to test their observation skills.

So, this can be a bit confusing - we last saw our disaster trio all together around episode 10 - so here's a quick recap with names! At the beginning of the episode, Xue Yang was pretending to be Xiao Xingchen, with his face, his blindfold and Xiao Xingchen's sword (but not to the extent of wearing white clothes - oh sweetheart, when you're taking someone's face you need to commit to the outfit!). Wei Wuxian only bought it until fake Xiao Xingchen snapped his fingers and started giggling. Song Lan is a zombie now and has no tongue - he's still under Xue Yang's control 'cos I think Wei Wuxian missed a nail. I don't think Wei Wuxian is lying when he tells Xue Yang that Wen Ning never died - that's what Wen Qing told him too, back in that labor camp. And the body in the coffin is the real Xiao Xingchen, who is really and actually dead.

SiZhui is such a good, nice, Lan boy! He's BEST boy! Lan Jingyi is the most un Lan to ever Lan, but we love him too. The ducklings are the best part of the second half.

And while I like the live version of Yi City, the larger story involving Xue Yang does nothing for me. Yet so many fans love this arc, I guess because they love Xue Yang? Maybe one day someone can explain to me what I'm missing.
