dead cells castlevania drawing + process gif (Patreon)

this drawing took a while and was kind of a tricky/messy process, but i think it's finally done and i am happy (enough) with it!! it was in the "almost finished" stage for a good while, but didn't look quite right to me yet. i was really happy with the idea of the composition and the lineart was nice enough, but i really struggled with colors.

i didn't make a lot of backups of this drawing once i transferred it over to clip studio paint (the initial sketches were in paint), but by disabling/enabling old backup layers that i kept i think i can make an accurate enough summary of how the process went. hope you like it! 

i think it's kind of lame how the new image posts look on patreon (only shows 3 thumbnails even if there are far more images, making it sort of look like there's only 3 images), but at least you can have a side by side view of the process gif and the finished drawing! which is pretty neat. still makes my posts look like they only have 3 images in them though >:[
