J-hope really is unbelievably talented. His flow, his message, his literary wordplay, his dancing, his singing, his professionalism, his kindness, his comedic humor…. The list goes on haha When you watch the full lollapalooza performance, please make sure to go to “Enjoy BTS more” on youtube, she has the whole performance with english subtitles! In general, that channel is a great English subs resource for live performances and even some lyric videos (I know at least Jack in the box, Indigo and Face are all on there in full with great quality translations.) For the song What If, he was actually talking to himself! (Or his “j-hope” persona.) This is a quote from an interview about the song: “In some sense, the name ‘j-hope’ is what made me who I am. As a regular human being Jung Hoseok, as Jung Hoseok who doesn’t have anything, would I have been still able to tell stories that I can tell as j-hope? Isn’t it extremely arrogant [to think that I would’ve been able to do so even if I had nothing]? I’ve been thinking about this constantly.”

ngl its so refreshing to hear ppl say they dislike a song even if i disagree. especially with reactors they always LOVE every song from every artist like its so fake

I love Hobi and this album but I'm really with you that not all songs click with me. I love the message and appreciate them as art pieces but I'm not listening to them on my own. And I think that's totally ok!
