So he's been writing Noct letters

and because he's always moving Noct can't write back

This goes on for 2 years

Noctis doesn't talk about prompto much anymore mostly because who could he talk to without giving himself away

But then Luna finds his box of letters and shes like 'oh...'

And noct immediately apologises because its pretty obvious

but Luna's amazing and this was a political arrangement it just helps that she is very fond of Noct

Tbh if she'd known she would have made some kind of arrangement

So she reassures him

and Noct feels like a weight has been lifted

But then the letters stop

And he just knows that something has happened

He gets Gladio and Ignis in

They get a map and start using the postal stamps to plot Promptos journey

In hopes of finding where he could have dropped off the radar

So maybe they recruit a team to go with Ignis

Gladio can't leave Noct, Ignis is the only one he'll trust

So like - I dont know Iris, Aranea

Maybe Prompto was trying to trace his roots

Ardyn could be involved

Or he was working for Vyv

Maybe Luna puts them in contact with Aranea

knows her from interactions with the empire

Maybe also Ravus

so yeah that would be fun 8D
