this was a really good episode. I love the scene of Eric and Otis making up. Sex Education does friendship really well--probably one of the shows that does it best in fact. I was also particularly fond with the comparisons between Adam and Eric. Eric has a lot of what Adam wants out of life, and you know this despite the fact that Adam never actually verbally says it. The actor does a good job of making Adam feel like a very deep character even while saying very little because that is the case--Adam doesn't often put words to his emotions but we very clearly can see what's going on with him in terms of his relationship to his dad. It's definitely one of my favorite storylines and build-ups. I also really enjoy how, even after finding out about this "deal" between Jackson and Maeve, and even though Maeve clearly wants to be with Otis through the dance, she still sticks by Jackson to make sure he's okay throughout the night. She's just a genuinely good person. Also!! looks like Lily finally found herself someone to have sex with lmao!!

This episode is really good! The best so far this season in my opinion. There's so much going on but it doesn't feel too much since it's so well paced. Special mention for Eric with his dad, that scene is perfect. I love Eric the entire episode, how we see him gradually regain his confidence and what his father tells him was so perfect. The contrast with Adam is heartbreaking... no wonder he snapped... Otis and Eric reconciliating was perfect too and I remember how I couldn't stop smiling that whole dance scene. Also, how fitting they danced to a song from Hedwig 😊❤ The drama is piling up by the end of the episode and I can't wait for the next reaction !
