I love this episode so much. How you can really see the difference between the two characters at the last scene after the kiss. Where Pat is more impulsive and living in the moment kind of guy, he has now realized he likes Pran and he's so relieved to have gotten that off his chest, he's all happy. Meanwhile Pran's reaction to the kiss is more on the sad and anxious side, cause now this guy he has liked for so long is showing him he likes him back and they just made out but he's aware there cant possibly be a future for them because of the whole parent situation and the rivalry between the friend groups. Pran likes order but now a whirlwind of a situation has been thrown at him and he just needs to walks away and process. The reactions are just so true to the characters personalities and I really enjoyed seeing that

This episode is so good--actually, I was on vacation in LA for the BTS concerts when this episode aired and I got spoiled for the kiss because my friend, who hasn't seen any Thai BL yet, said that "everyone on my twitter feed is freaking out. i guess some guys kissed in a BL?" and I was like "NO!!!!!!!! SPOILERS!!!!" lmao so while that was slightly disappointing, it didn't really ruin the episode for me when watching. NOBODY expected this kiss in ep5. I'm not going to say why because that might spoil other series, but just trust me when I say that there is a multitude of reasons that the entire BL watching community was SHOOK when we got this kiss (and such a good one at that!) Ohm and Nanon really are amazing actors. I think they really shine in the serious scenes, like the fight with Wai (who, btw, his actor is actually a doctor irl!! and he's getting his own BL later this year which looks interesting) and on the rooftop. That rooftop scene is just... gorgeous. And I really like how they managed to portray 2 very different emotions. Pat was so relieved. He took no time in accepting that this was what he wanted and now he has it, not thinking about anything else. He's clearly sick of pretending to hate Pran. Meanwhile Pran, the more logical of the two, was okay always crushing from afar--it was easy because he didn't think Pat liked him back that way anyway. But now Pat has kissed him and he got a taste of what he *could* have (and also Pat JUST told Pran that he likes Ink), but their friends and families... so many conflicts and Pran is just so overwhelmed by what that all means and Nanon portrays that beautifully I think. I won't say too much because everyone else has said it for me, but definitely, I think, one of my favorite episodes of the series. -- On that note, there is one thing I want to mention, not necessarily about Bad Buddy, but I actually rec'd you to a friend of mine to check out, and this isn't really about you, but they looked at the youtube comments on your upload of your Bad Buddy reaction and as a member of your patreon who REALLY enjoys watching your reactions (and you've watched a LOT of series I love even if I haven't been able to watch all your reactions because it's a lot. Like clearly Hannibal, Sex Ed, Bad Buddy, then there's the The Untamed, Scum Villain, Gossip Girl, etc etc) On youtube you're going to get a lot of comments on your Bad Buddy reactions about not watching "problematic BL's". I want to squash that for you before too many people start saying it. Don't worry about "problematic BL's". Most even aren't. When people say that, they mean things that aren't 100% peachy, meaning there might be darker, more serious storylines. One of the big ones that people consider problematic is actually one of my favorite BLs of all time, TharnType, to the point that their actors who portray them are very important to me and to a lot of other people. I'm not going to spoil anything for you, but seriously, I hope you don't look at those comments about "problematic BLs" and think seriously about those comments because most of it is just bull and considering how much you like Hannibal (hell, Chuck/Blair would be considered too "problematic" for these people), I don't think you'd honestly care too much. I mean, it's fiction. We're here to watch interesting stories, right? So yeah, I just wanted to bring this up because there are going to be a lot of people in your youtube comments for Bad Buddy who prob haven't seen a lot of your other reactions trying to tell you what you should or should not react to. I think you should react to whatever you want and whatever interests you and a lot of those "problematic BL's" aren't even problematic. They just have more serious storylines and characters with flaws.

Thanks for pointing that out, people do tend to forget when tharntype came out, how different the industry was back then, even in the spinoff show Dont Say No mame really did grow as a writer and had the relationship more like what you see today a really healthy and cute relationship. People don't seem to get that these tropes have existed forever in BL also in BL anime. They aren't just going to go away but the industry learns and has grown from them. I still love tharn type and it really is a good show with characters that arent flawless. That's why I enjoy it because they do have room to grow to an extent. Also, its a bit more Darker which i find more interesting sometimes. But as a whole these are just TV shows idk why people take them so true to life anyway lol Just watch whatever you enjoy :)
