I always love Barney even though he has some ridiculous storylines. I think that maybe that's why Robin and Barney broke up so fast - because Barney being single has got some of the shows greatest laughs. Robin and Barney was still my favourite couple, but I get why they need Barney to be single again. It is such a big part of How I met your mother. From the very first episode... All his dating-theories, the playbook, "history-lessons" etc. "the hook" was of course very mean, but it made a funny story. But come on Ted, even if Henrietta knew you were just friends, you don't just ditch her because a girl calls you up. Such a douchy friend in this episode

I actually really liked that eveyrone kept someone on the hook. That way they were all kinda equally awfull :P So, like you said, we can't just blame Ted.

Great reaction :) First episode is quite fun with the rabbit vs duck argument that just got blown out of proportion XD The way they edited that was really funny. Also, gotta love Marshal being so relentless in his teasing of Robin XD The cursed phone of doom... Barney really gets some ridiculous storylines but NPH's acting always make it work. Second episode was fun too. Love seeing David Burka back :) his little cameos are always fun :D Such a cute face, it could rival with Puss in Boots from Shrek *-* The hook is a vile thing... it's quite sad when you stop and think about it but it's also quite realistic in my opinion. I personally don't think I ever had anyone on the hook but I know a coupl of friends who have been on either side... wasn't pretty... Good reactions overall, I agree when you said the show is good for background watching. I actually put some of my fave episodes while doing chores sometimes XD
