I've never understood the hate for Dan and Blair AT ALL, the development of their relationship throughout the show is absolutely amazing, they bring out the best in each other unlike Chuck and Blair who seem to do the opposite, they easily have the healthiest dynamic out of everyone and they single handedly carried the later seasons on their backs.

Oh what a great point at the end about it being a f***ing tv-show! People need to chill! I like to share my point of view and reading others. It is interesting to see how people view some things different. That is entertaining to me. But I get so tired when I see some people arguing in the comments. Come on, it's just a tv-show. I can never ship Dan and Blair but I kinda love that you do. It is interesting and all of your point kinda makes sense to me. Thanks for another good reaction! Great episode! Wow, so much drama in one episode. Georgina is the best. She makes such good drama and she's always at the right/wrong place at the right/wrong time. I love that she was the one tying everything together. She is just so much fun to watch. I don't think that Chuck is acting like a dick in this episode - I think he is just being STUPID. I don't think he wants anything but good things for Blair. He is just so stupid in this episode and he doesn't get how he is messing it up for both Blair and himself... (he didn't know how much money it was..) But I agree with what you said about Chuck. He was so bad in season 4. I think he is very good in season 5. But here he made some really bad choices. I'm not trying to defend Chuck, but I can't help but blame Blair a bit: Blair has made Chuck believe that he is her one and ONLY love. She has made it seem like she wanted him to wait for her (I do think she meant it at the time). Finally Blair has set Chuck free. By saying that she loves him but that for the moment being she is not IN LOVE with him. Hopefully he gets it and respects her decision. We'll see.... Blair has always been my favourite charachter, but I do think she has been very unfair to Chuck. It does not excuse Chuck's behaviour at all! Even though I will always ship those two, I do believe at this time it would be better if Chuck found someone who treets him better too. that's just my opinion.

Chuck was an idiot this episode. I really don't like the Van Der Woodsen family (I used to love Lily and Rufus) so I was more on the side of Lola and Ivy in this ep. I love that ending scene with Dan and Blair! They're not perfect but I do think they're one of the healthier relationships with really good chemistry and development. As for your comments at the end, I definitely agree. Some of my favourite characters are people I wouldn't necessarily like at all in real life.

There’s characters I like in shows who I would run away from in real life. This is all a fantasy. I would probably be friends with someone like Vanessa in real life but in a tv show with this setting I don’t like her much. It’s TV
