In S2 the actress who plays Zhann made the decision to leave because of the severe skin problems she began to have as a result of the make-up she had to wear. So she was written out of the series at that point. So she did give her life for Aeryn. She didn't want to leave but it was affecting her health. I was sad to see her go! It was a big shock when it originally aired. Don't worry, Jool got on my nerves at first too, gotta give her a chance to settle in lol There is some really, really great stuff on the horizon! That scene you loved with Scorpy and the tux, was filmed in the parking lot of the studio they filmed at in Australia :) Plenty of whacky John and Scorpy moments to come!

I'm still thinking about that Scorpy moment, and severe skin problems guess that also applies to her character. thanks for the info that adds quite a lot of context, look forward to seeing what they do with Jool don't mind character flaw as it only leads to some development always welcome to see more quirk members to the crew.

Laura Shepherd

Zhann was my least favourite crew member, but her death still gets me so emotional every time - mainly I guess for what she meant to each other member of the crew. They've lost their calm centre, their heart, the mother figure and the pacifist of the group. Without that - well you'll see 🤣 Harvey, the Scorpy in John's head, is probably my favourite character in the whole show lol! I love how he just started as a Scorpius clone and now being stuck in John's head playing in his memories he's developing his own unique persona.

I loved Zhaan. I knew about the makeup issue before the episode, which lessened the impact a little for me back in the day, but I was still sad to see her go. The next couple of episodes are some of my favorites. As season 3 continues to remind the crew that happy endings are not guaranteed in life. Not by a long shot.
