WIP'n It Up(date) (Patreon)

Some work in progress previews!

And also a mini-update because I haven't done one of those in a while. This time it's combined with pictures because I'm going to talk about a (good) change coming to how I share WIP like these.

So I've had a super-productive week, and I'm really excited about a lot of the pictures I'm working on. This post only shows about 25% of all the new pictures I started the past week.

Now that I'm coloring more often I don't always share the Black & White lineart as a separate post, because I feel like the finished picture will have more impact seeing it in color for the first time. But I haven't been updating you enough guys lately with the 3-10 pictures I start daily, and I have an idea for how to improve that. 

These are all previews I've been posting to the #work-in-progress channel on Discord. I used to update it daily with progress from the livestreams, so anyone could catch up on the latest progress.

For any of you Discord-shy holdouts, here's what the interface looks like:

I used to post all my WIP as full (un-cropped) pictures in the public (free) discord channels, 5-10 every day, but that wasn't ideal because Discord users would see them all before most of my patrons who aren't on Discord.

The way I've been doing it lately – holding back 75% of my sketches and only posting cropped or unfinished versions like these on Discord, because I'm trying to save the final pictures for Patreon exclusives. But I don't post the WIP daily on Patreon because I've gotten feedback that more than 3 posts a day is too much. When I did it before, people didn't like that minor updates of the same sketch quickly buried older pictures.

What I'm going to change very soon –  add a new PATRON-EXCLUSIVE discord channel, where I post EVERYTHING I worked on at the end of each day, be it a dozen sketches or minor progress on one big pic.

That new channel will to be visible only to patrons who are also on discord, everyone else on discord will see the cropped previews only. To avoid too much Patreon post spam I'll collect those updates in a single weekly post just for your tier, so you don't haaaave to join discord to get 100% of the content (but you totally should because there's lots of good stuff there!)

I'll explain more about these WIP dumps when I do the first one, I'm thinking Sundays are good time, because it's when I notice the most traffic of people catching up on my posts anyway.
