But getting an interview with Major Gasparyan was not an easy task. Berseh was forced to travel to B'tumi, where she was in danger because she worked with a program started by Dog, which local oligarchs and politicians hated very much. Berseh was not safe because haters knew her face, but the head of the National Security Service had guaranteed her safety. The only question was how trustable he was. The man was an exception. There was nothing hidden and secret with him. He was clean, no matter how much the team dug his background. That made Berseh nervous, but she was willing to take the risk and travel for the sake of truth.

The difference between the Country and Union was huge. Years of corruption, lack of legislation, and money disappearing into wrong pockets were visible everywhere. Berseh never thought that all she was talking about was so well visible. Despite decay and slowly rotting old monuments from the forgotten era capital itself was modern with coffees and fancy restaurants. Decay and modern buildings, combined with the mix of fancy luxury cars and ancient rusty relics, created a surreal atmosphere.

Berseh had one day before the agreed meeting with the Head of National Security Service and Major Gasparyan. She was using that day to wander around the city. B'tumi was a large city with a nice population of four million people. So she couldn't believe her eyes when she spotted young Mr. Gasparyan doing his shopping with his sister's slave girl. Berseh found it hilarious that Major Gasparyan, known for freeing slaves, had a personal slave registered as a pet/pleasure slave. So Berseh decided to follow Mr. Gasparyan and the slave girl. To have it all even more strange, it looked like Mr. Gasparyan was on a date with a neighbor girl, not accompanied by a slave girl. Berseh couldn't believe what she saw when she followed them to a nice modern coffee house. Her main target was enjoying ice cream and a huge glass of brandy in the coffee house. Berseh was thrilled.
