BOHICA News for December 11th, 2020. (Patreon)

Good news, everybody; more people have joined the Battalion here at Patreon! Welcome Valerie Finnigan, another great comic creator I know personally who does some fantastic work featuring real-life veterans' stories!

There is still room for many, many more to join-- including unlimited availability for Private, Specialist, and Sergeant reward tiers!

BOHICA Blues: I will continue to post brand-new BOHICA Blues comics to Patreon up to a week early for "Specialist" and above tiers! The completely finished and scheduled to post new comic "Down the Rabbit Hole" will post at Patreon on the 15th of December, and will post to the regular public site on the 20th. 

Meanwhile, the pencil sketches and scripts for 7 new comics were completed yesterday, and I will begin posting those as "sneak peeks at works in progress" over the next few weeks. 

Speaking of "Works In Progress", the cover for book 3 is being created, and book 3 itself is being organized! A couple cover pictures will be posted at Patreon as a "Future Projects" feature available for the "Platoon Sergeant" tier.

I hope to have at least two, perhaps three, books ready for public sale soon. I am prioritizing these publications at the moment, so other projects are proceeding more slowly. The ISBN number and barcode have been added to Book 2, and Book 3 is being edited. 

The "Medieval Fantasy" Project: Work continues on some preliminary set-up for my "Medieval Fantasy" project. I have found an artist to do some character concept art and I have already received a couple of roughs from her. I like what I see so far and hope she will consider working with me on the long haul with this project. I will post some of these roughs relatively soon, depending on how things go. 

The "Empires" Reboot: Some rough drafts and script ideas, and a lot of world-building concepts so far... including an alien alphabet are being worked on. This is proceeding slowly as I am prioritizing getting my BOHICA Blues books published first and foremost.
