BOHICA News! Check for e-mails! (Patreon)

Hello! The above *should* represent the most up to date and proper Patreon listing so far. I've had some new Patrons enlist recently; some new and some are shifting their levels of support around, going higher or lower. *Please* check your emails as I sent out some messages recently but have not heard back from everyone. I recently discovered that I had sent messages to people but as it turns out I accidentally sent them emails to myself, which is weird. I think an auto-complete in my "send to" category tripped me up. 

I am working on new characters for people at the Platoon Sergeant level, and right now I have one ready for Paul Brooks, who will have a character join the Battalion in the webcomic as the Intelligence NCO. We all need "Intel Inside"; insert your own wry humor here.  Here's a development sketch:

I have two more character sheets to get to and I hope to do them before the weekend but if not it will be after the 4th of July holiday. 

In one case, a Platoon Sergeant Patron has asked not for his own person to be made into a character, but a character representing his father, who  would be portrayed as an AAFES contractor. This is great, and opens up some new ideas for stuff since a trip to the downrange PX was about as much of a break as one could expect (at least to my recollection). Due to the plot progression in the comic, that character will show up once they are deployed, so it won't be immediately. However, the mobilization site part of the story *is* beginning to wrap up and they will be deployed before August. 

In other projects, I continue to scan in future projects. I've got some Wolf Project rough sketches coming up for Platoon Sergeants and above soon, and next month some more sketches done for the Medieval Fantasy project. The science-fiction project has some stuff posted recently with more to come as well. 

There will be a recruiting drive for Sergeants soon, and I will put in more Classic Comics *besides* just the old "Empires" comics, which will continue. If you are interested in the original "BOHICA Blues" from downrange, there are still months of material left-- it can be kind of cool to see some of the early versions of the webcomics and how it all began.

The "Empires" comic has been posted just to post it, but I intend to do a bit of background expose on it soon. It is/was a bit of a quirky piece, and has some odd choices in it that I probably would change nowadays. Be prepared for that, and if any of the rest of you like oddball 1990's military science fiction action (even with "furries") then you can all upgrade to "Sergeant" tier and read this ongoing story. I'm about halfway through this complete tale so far.   

Recently I've added Doodles that are more than just Doodles, but old character sheets and sketches as well as things like caricatures, portrait pieces, and more "art" type stuff rather than just scribbly doodles. There will be more like that to come and I am trying to explain a bit more about my weird art process.
