LETS GO! What an episode! I knew she was playing along! It made the most sense. Clayman gaining more power was not something I saw coming though, but apparently it is part of Raphael's calculations. I am SO ready to see Rim put Clayman down!

--Since they never used this term before in the anime and don't explained it really (only as Reminder and for People who dont know it), the Voice of the World is basically a voice that pops up for certain events, like skill gaining, evolutions etc. Rimuru ( or more like when he was Satoru Mikami and was dying) heard the Voice of the World too when he got all those Skills and Resistances. ( Since he didnt had Great Sage at the Time) Great Sage then copied the " Voice " from the System of the Voice of the World for herself and gained a Consience as a Skill which only Rimuru can hear. "Voice of the World is the 'voice' that announces events occurring in the world. It can also be said to be the voice of the laws or system governing the world. It can be described as an omnipresent being that oversees everything." Milim had actually to Suppress her Resistenz Skills as much as Possible and had to Concentrate like Crazy, that it looked like Claymans Magic worked on her. Her Power is far above Claymans, so she would have countered Claymans Magic instantly Some skipped content: Shion did not know Rimuru had made those augments to her sword and got giddy when she found out, calling it "Gorikimaru Version 2.", and since Claymans Dolls had Souls in them, he could in Theory bring them Back as often he wants, but since Shions Blade can destroy Souls, they were useless against her. Milim was keeping up her straight face by chewing raw vegetables, which she hates. And was obviously super proud of her dedication, as we saw.

Viola originally worked slightly "different". In the LN it supposedly flung actual weapons at Shion and not just spells. And when Beretta had Viola's pieces lined up ready for Rimuru, the text said "It [Beretta] was lining up all the Unique weapons and armor on the floor." This does have some minor plot significance in the future so I wonder how they'll do it in the anime adaptation. The dialogue between Rimuru and Veldora involved other plot relevant things that were not included but the contents of that skipped part is spoilers so I won't specify what exactly they talked about. Shion also did not just cut Clayman's arms off in the novel, rather she cut them off and then-some. Here is a direct quote from the Novels. "Shion bounded off, using both hands to swing down her blade as quickly as she possibly could. It was a single blow from her sword, a judging strike. Clayman did his best to block it, but his three pairs of arms were all sliced off, his body slashed diagonally down from head to toe. It was unsurvivable." I guess that is why they changed it in the anime. Or maybe they wanted it to be a tiny bit less brutal. Rest of the scene plays out the same so just like in the anime, Clayman somehow hangs onto life and awakens after having this whole flashback. In the flashback, Clayman refers to Tear, Footman and Laplace as his only friends, and indicates clear remorse over his actions, and seems to feel bad for failing his friends like so. Giving him some small amount of humanity. Which is something I really like about this series. Even the villains are given some sympathy and traits that are normal. Like having friends. It's really fresh to me.
