So the vampire is another Ogre. Interesting. I'm curious if they will make any other classic monsters into ogres in this. I also did not see that coming with Frau, but who would see that coming?! My goodness, that was crazy.

It does seem like that the "rearrangement of events" will continue for awhile with this anime, not that I particularly mind, but the canonical placement of this week's contents is rather question as there are still gaps that need to be filled from the previous episodes, and this feels way forward in the timeline given how Meki's nicknamed "Carrot," her opinions on humans (& their hearts) is different than previously stated, and the fact the region seems much different... I am curious if we'll reach a point where everything's fallen into place so nothing gets "mixed up" and left for later!

Humans just acting themselves is basically enough justification to be punished in the eye of other intelligent races in other media, cause it can't be understated how overwhelming the animosity, the discrimination, the negativity our species can generate truly can be... the same can be said about our positive emotions too, but these townsfolk are far from being called "saints," that's for sure!

....Honestly, the shock value of Peach Boy Riverside's insanely high & well-executed, cause holy shit, I did not (in the slightest) expect anything that went down with Frau this week, it was so outta nowhere and I want to see/learn more about this "harefolk" overall~! I will say, that form & its well animated eyes might just visit me (without my consent) in my dreams cause while it does look cool, it's also rather terrifying since we're so used to the normal appearance! Lmao

Instincts are a damn powerful force, so it makes sense what happened to the vampire ogre, who struggled to control & eventually succumbed to the desires of his species/body instead of solely listening to his heart... it's sad as fuck what went down, but even humans struggle with their instincts, so the fact Meki might have broken free of the ogre's "natural desires" does give me some solace about the situation.

Curveballs are the best sports-balls-thingymabob, even in storytelling, that's for sure! XD
