WarriorZ, I don't know why I questioned if Ray knows Isabella is his mom or not...He literally asked her why she gave birth to him. I was just overwhelmed with emotions at that scene, I guess.

We can assume that the Mom of Plant Three will have a new open position as Isabella will most likely be punished and/or killed for letting 15 kids escape. So I think when she said that she "had enough," she was accepting her inevitable death for failure and admitted to her loss with a sense of happiness too, that there people who could change this fate by escaping successfully. (And it was nice of her to cover up their tracks by removing the ropes connected to the walled trees so the patrolling demons wouldn't find them and have an easier time of tracking them down.)

I am very happy with this adaption. The ending was everything I wanted to see. Season 2 HYPE.

NO WONDER ISABELLA IS SO THICC, SHE A MILFFFFFF. In all seriousness, what a way to end the first season. Jam packed with twists and emotions I didn't ask to feel. Absolutely terrific first cour, hopefully the quality will remain as we (hopefully) get more and more seasons.

For sure. Was not expecting to feel that way at the end with Isabella. When Ray asked that question, I wasnt expecting all of that. :(
