Anriku's Reaction to Noragami Episode 7!

Might not be all that necessary to make note of this 2 years after you've seen this episode, but the reason Tenjin has "all women" as his Regalia is because it parallels the Shinto culture/religion, where he acts as the "head priest" of his shrine and the other "workers" are known as "miko," female shrine maidens often depicted in many aspects of Japanese entertainment and life... Noragami, the series, serves to subtly (and not so subtly) highlight aspects of Shintoism ("Shinto"), the most popular "religion"/"way of life" in Japan, like how offerings of 5 yen coins in the show are common, because that's a typical monetary offering presented to the "Kami" (Gods) of a shrine when visiting!

Oh yeah, for sure, the music of Noragami is a definite highlight that makes most, if not all, scenes better because of the choice of OSTs... hard to find a series that consistently picks the most appropriate background music for all sorts of scenes, that level of audio control is hard to achieve and maintain!

It was also this episode that I realized, after taking forever to notice, that the name "Noragami" refers to "Stray God" because Nora is "Stray" and Kami is "God(s)," serving as a clever name and reference to Yato's stray lifestyle
