Honest thoughts on Book 4 so far?

- Did you like or hate the Lahn arc?

- Did you like or hate the Abyss arc?  Was it confusing to follow?

- What did you hate most and what did you like most about book 4?  I'll be honest with my own example, the last arc with the Abyss felt a bit off to me.  I followed the outline but it didn't come out as I'd anticipated, I'd hoped it would be better and might scrap a large portion of it if everyone feels the same.

If there is one thing you could change, what would it be?  I'm more than happy to rewrite it to an extent if there are particular things that stand out.  Let me know.  Thanks!

I really love this bloody story. its so good, theres been so many rollar coaster moments, emotional damage all round. Lahns fate is confusing to me, but thats because i didnt go back and read the corrections, but im not worried about that, ive picked it up in stride. Im really hoping that somehow, with rivens Duality, both fay and athela can get what they want but that might just be wishful thinking. atm the only thing i find confusing is the ramifications of this whole "temple of time" thing. 3 dragons are 3 aspects of time, waiting for someone to come along to let them rest or soemthing. Heaven and Hell are in a constant war over this/keeping the balance. Rivens in the middle of it all. Gluttony wants it to happen, for some reason. the temple of time guys seem like they want it to happen as well so they can finally die. Elysium DOESNT?, Chalgathi wants it to happen as well, but like, hes powerful enough to Knock Elysium's Systems around and stop it from cheese killin riven with some bullshit?. Malignancy seems more then just knowing the future, its literally undoing it to make it more favourable, so i can understand the appeal of that.

I find the abyss arc very confusing. I asked a question after a chapter, but where everyone is very confusing. And where is the temple v. catherdral, above, below, near, far I really don't have any idea. The bells are at different levels and the sins are near each other but the rest? Also with all the flashbacks to still have stuff completely unmentioned pop-up is head scratching, why show vamp ancestors but then a have other stuff form them come to light. I like the story but it is very confusing. Lahn the same, great-gran apparently picked him out, but knew nothing about the location or that was just to mislead the reader? I think the abyss arc needs more of an explanation of how they survived at all, seems like just aura/presence would kill them, if not collateral damage even if not the main target. But they are the target...
